We stopped by Celia’s on a hot day while out for a walk with my husband and mother-in-law. The restaurant looked welcoming from the outside, and we were greeted warmly by the hostesses. They gave us a great table, which I appreciated since I was with my baby.

Unfortunately, our experience quickly soured the moment our server, Tania, came to the table. She approached us with a cold, unwelcoming attitude and looked visibly irritated from the start. I asked how many ounces of tequila are typically in their margarita because I’m breastfeeding and wanted to be cautious. Instead of helping, she responded in a rude and sarcastic tone, saying she didn’t know and questioned why she would know that. There was no offer to ask or check, just attitude.

Trying to move on, I asked about the “camarones al gusto” and how the dish is prepared. Again, she responded with an annoyed expression and said, “It’s just shrimp.” At that point, I had had enough. Her behavior was unprofessional and made us feel completely unwelcome.

I brought this to the manager’s attention, but he seemed indifferent and just said he’d “talk to her,” offering no real apology or concern.

If you plan on visiting this location, I strongly advise avoiding Tania as your server. Her attitude and complete lack of customer service ruined what should have been a nice family dinner. There are plenty of restaurants that value their guests — sadly, this is not...

Haven't been here for a while. Nice surprise today. On Wednesday I parked my truck in front and ordered take-out at the front door for my construction crew of 6 guys as:

6 Special Burritos, grilled chicken. 3 orders of Churros. Chips and salsa. 6 canned sodas. About $120 + good tip.

The server brought out 3 giant bags: 1 Bag of sodas. 1 Bag of 3 huge 6" x 12" foil boxes and 3 round 4" dia. cups of ice cream. 1 Bag of 4 huge 6" x 12" foil boxes.

Each huge foil box contained one massive burrito, packed with grilled chicken, sour cream, and guacamole, and a mild red sauce.

The 7th huge box contained the 3 orders of Churros - about 30 pieces.

I didn't realize it until halfway through lunch that the round containers were full of sweet vanilla ice cream for dipping the Churros - it was great.

I could only eat 1/2 of my giant Special burrito, but a few guys cleaned the tray. The grilled chicken was lean, surprisingly moist, and present in the entire giant burrito.

A good reminder to stop by more often, even...

Rude.. i came in and was going to order and decided to eat dessert first since the churros with ice cream sounded good and when I gave imelda my order she looked annoyed and kinda rolled her eyes I decided not to order food after finishing my dessert because of that I was still under an hour of being there and when she gave me my bill she went to talk to a guy named Cruz and I could hear them talking loud and rudely about me saying that people like me just take up space and that someone like me would sit there for hours on end and didn't want to leave when she came back to my table I told her next time she should try and gossip in a lower tone since that was rude she tried to use the time limit as an excuse but I pointed out I hadn't even passed 1 hour since I sat down and that its annoying as a customer for them to gossip about me so loudly that the least they could do was do it more privately she just...

Went Celia's for lunch with colleagues. The restaurant is quite big and has a nice rustic feel, though it was surprisingly quiet on a Thursday. It’s been a while since I had Mexican food. The experience started well: the taco chips were served warm and the salsa was spot-on. Our group shared a few bowls of incredibly fresh guacamole, which together with the taco chips, were the highlight of the meal. I decided to be adventurous and tried the Chili Relleno Especial (a mild chili stuffed with cheese and minced beef). It was a huge portion, but unfortunately, there was very little of the minced beef filling. It tasted okay, but i would have preferred something more meaty. Great service and good spot for a group, but I'll try a different entrée next time.

I have been to Celia's once before, and I got the most basic Tostada in existence. It was good, but I never felt like I gave Celia's a chance to impress. Well, today is my 10th anniversary with my partner so we revisited a place with fond memories. This time I got the Sopitos with chicken and let me tell you, I don't think I've ever had a better dish at a Mexican Restaurant. It was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and delivered faster than I could have hoped for such a large order. The restaurant itself is well decorated, well lit and invitingly colored. The staff were friendly and quick to assist in all manner of our dining experience. I'll definitely come back again!

Took my parents here for lunch before taking them to SFO for their flight. It's only 8 min away from SFO (w/out traffic) We loved it. Everything was really delicious. Loved the complimentary chips & salsa! We had soft tacos with shredded beef plate with refried beans & rice, a small burrito with shredded beef, side Spanish omelet with shredded beef ( there's a theme 😂), cup of Albondigas soup and a bowl of Tortilla Soup. The Tortilla soup was so good on a chilly day, it had small chunks of fresh avocado in it and a lovely clear broth. Mom had a cocktail, i "think" it was called a Marina?. She said it was delicious!! Excellent food, great service, great location.
