This park has become a disaster. Insanely overcrowded. Its wild and frantic and loud. from chatting with a few people and looking at kids wearing labeled school clothes it seems its mostly people from other cities taking over the place. The playground had no less than about 200 kids playing Making it difficult for things like getting the swings especially when you have large hordes of teenagers taking them over and doing stunts they can break the swing or hurt smaller kids. Read moreEverything is great, the play structure is awesome and at night many high school kids go to have some fun and just to let some energy out by feeling like a small kid again. The only problem I have is the recreation center right next to it. It concerns me how there could be people in offices just WATCHING kids play. There are several fun events and gatherings here throughout the year. My favorite is the annual Bark and Brewfest fundraiser for the Peninsula Humane Society.
