very nice relaxing vibe with friendly customer service :) Mateo Pizza is a nice cozy relaxed vibe with great welcoming customer service. The ambiance of this place is perfect for a gathering with friends and family, very clean and the decorations add a warm welcoming feel to the place. My company and I gone into Mateo Pizza because we heard this place has really great Hala pizza and were recommended to try "The Ottoman" by far the best tasting pizza with a mild spice to it not too spicy but just enough kick of Turkish version of pepperoni to give it just the right kick and the crust was perfect mmmm all I can say is you really have to try this, highly recommendable and I am sure the rest is just as yummy I haven't tried everything as of yet but I will be a returning customer to tryout the other pizzas you bet! I was not disappointed at all, Mateo pizza also has a great desert as well I tried which is their Tiramisu and it was like heaven in my moth the perfect way to end the meal I will defiantly be getting more of this as well my diet is going to hate me but its too good to pass up. My experience all together had been a very positive experience with warm and welcoming employees as my company and I were instantly greeted upon entering with great positive energy . My company and I were treated with professionalism in such away it felt like family. I would say you have to try this place or you will be missing out Mateo pizza will not leave you disappointed and you bet I will be recommending this place to my my friends and family as I also like to support local businesses. your local Bay Area food critic

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Delicious food, one of the best pizzas I've had in recent memory. A group of friends and I left a downtown Burlingame bar around 1am, and saw this place was still open. I'm pretty sure it's new as I had never seen it before while researching places to eat late at night. Burlingame is dead after 10pm with no food in sight, so i was grateful to find Mateo Pizza. We ordered a "meat lovers" pizza over the phone and walked to this place. It was ready in 15 mins and boy when I tell you it was good, it was GOOOOD; and not just because we were all tipsy. We smashed that pizza so fast lol, I didnt even have time to take a photo. And when we were there in the bldg we asked for a water and they tried giving us bottled waters for free; so generous, but we couldn't accept it for free so we tipped them. Food 5/5 Location 5/5 Service 5/5. SUPPORT THIS PLACE, it deserves all the hype.
