Tldr version: I eat a lot of sushi and have had a lot of tempura. This place seems over priced and the food was ok at best. The servers were fine and I got everything quick though. They had to much on the menu they might make better sushi if they're not also making ramen but maybe they're more of a ramen place... to bad I didn't try the ramen.
Details: So in a pinch this place might be alright. Let me be plain and straight up. Staff seating and food were all fast and generally friendly. The food was almost sub par. It was eatable and better than frozen for sure but for the prices they charged I thought it would be better.
The gyoza was slimy and chewy even if its Chinese style pot stickers they are hotter and firmer than these were. With that said also most gyoza I've ever had at japanese places is fried and crispy on the outside. Idk if it's a regional style they chose or just going with more Chinese style potstickers but it's not like gyoza I've ever had and that's not good. The price was a bit off too ive gotten ether more gyoza for that price or paid less for the same amount.
The sushi was alright but again I paid almost 14 dollars for it and I'd say I didnt grt my money's worth. The amount was standard but it had less little eggs than I usually see on sushi in this style. The fish was fine and normal the inside was tempura and avocado I think but if it was it wasn't what I expect of it. The crunchy tempura that is usually a good contrast between the soft rice and fish was soft and mushy inside the roll and there was very little avocado.
I'll end by saying the ramen seemed appropriately priced but everything else seemed over priced. I've never seen a regular tuna or salmon roll for $5 to $6 dollars. Usually they're $3.50 to $4 tops. Edamame is usually never over $2 some places give it to you free, here its again $5ish. I'd say if they got rid of sushi and stuck to ramen it might be better but I don't know how the ramen is. The staff again was the good friendly and...
Read moreWe came for the Japanese cuisine - Inshou. Instead of, we got this HK style cafe. Man, if you take over someone else’s business location, at least change to a different name. This is really misleading. It feels like you want to take the fame of the previous Inshou.
The store is big. Service was attentive and quick, but not in a friendly way.
The food was just okay. We ordered Hainanese Chicken over rice, Wonton noodle soup, Shrimp dumplings and Chilled milk tea.
Dude, I honestly thought the black circle in the picture was a label or sticker. Turned out it was a hole in the middle of bottle. Felt so cheated. And it tasted too sweet.
The chicken rice was very salty. The wonton noodle had weird ingredients. Typical wonton didn’t have peanuts. This one had. Both my husband and I could taste the peanut flavor in the wonton, which weirded us out. The only normal was shrimp dumplings. And, the food was kind of on the...

The Portuguese fish baked rice is really good. Top. Fish has a great texture, chewy in a good way. Has broccoli and carrot also cooked well just soft enough. They call it Lisbon fish rice here. Definitely order this again.
Beef brisket soup noodle is top. Has strong MSG but soft flavorful brisket and chewy noodles. Can order again.
We also ordered ox tongue spaghetti, the meat is good texture, the sauce is just okay, it was supposed to be tomato sauce but it was more like a gravy. I've had better of this one.
If you're craving Hong Kong food, this is a decent choice. There aren't that many on the peninsula.
The service is so fast that they were literally taking the plate out from under me while I was still trying to finish the last bite. At least they didn't pull the spoon out...
