Los Prados Park — Attraction in San Mateo

It's not one of the fanciest dog parks, but the dogs don't care! My dog loves running on the real and fairly thick grass. There must also be decent drainage because it never got very muddy during the rainy season. There are benches, a decent amount of natural shade, and a dog drinking fountain. Also, I have only run into friendly dogs here thus far. The only downside is that it is a lesser known dog park, so there are occasional evenings where there are no other dogs. The dog park is a mess. The water fountains are all clogged with dirt and probably feces. There's almost always mud and trip hazzards. Tree branches are about to break and fall off possibly injuring people. But they're having spending 10s of thousands of dollars rebuilding the tennis court sonthe rish A-holes could come play tennis and complain about the surrounding buildings looking too...
