Tacos Al Vapor Nueva Italia — Restaurant in San Mateo

I decided to give this place a try, with the awesome reviews from different people, the food tasted good and fresh. I ordered four tacos and I clearly told them in Spanish I only wanted the protein with a little cheese on top with beans only, but they decided to add jalapeño, onions, carrots(spice). There went my kids lunch out the window. I thought I ordered Birra de chivo and when I poured the soup in a bowel at home , it was only broth and shreds. This was the worst service ever. This is my family’s favorite Mexican restaurant and I usually don’t do this. But the food was not pleasing at all. The hand made tortillas were stiff and seemed to be old. They got our order wrong, the Al pastor was cold and bland and the consommé tasted like seafood broth. On top of that, the staff was really inattentive and rude to the point where they made a face when we asked for extra lemons and they never brought them. The current name seems to be "Nueva Italia Taqueria".

This is a recent and small taqueria (Is not even showing in Google streets maps), and most customers are Mexicans, so that gives you an idea of how authentic it is.

The specialty in there are "tacos Al vapor" (steamed), a style that is only Mexican and you never see in "Tex-Mex" taquerias (Most taquerias in USA are "Tex-Mex", BTW).
