Peoples Barber — Local services in San Mateo

EDIT: It’s been a week since I replied to your email and you still haven’t responded.

Second time that the barber (Jafet) who was marked as available was not there. The first instance I received a call from the store telling me that he was at another location for the day and offered another barber or for me to drive over to the location that he was at. The second time that happened today I checked in and sat for 10 minutes waiting only to be told that he was caught up in traffic trying to drive over here. I wasn’t even told that he wasn’t at the location, either when I checked in or while I was waiting until 10 minutes after…On squire he was marked as available from 9am for that location when I scheduled the appointment. unfortunately got a really terrible cut from Rae. I came in with pictures of how my previous styling professional had cut my hair for the past year. I think Rae must have either thought i was kidding or just ignored the pictures because the cut i got looks NOTHING like that. Areas that were supposed to be cut short were left too long (a fixable errot) but areas that were supposed to be left long were were cut too short (not fixable). Why did i bother showing her my pictures... Ruined hair, just in time for many holiday parties and my vacation - awesome. I was hoping that getting a "master barber haircut" would result in a better outcome - should have gone to supercuts as i think i would have gotten the exact same cut for $25. I had a haircut with Eman and asked if she could possibly get me in and out within a specific time frame, as I was pressed to make an appointment following my time with her. I offered that she could do a short quick shape up and wouldn’t mind because I hated to make her feel rushed. She insisted that she could give me the works and a wash in time and proceeded to give me one of the best haircuts ever! Super high quality and precise, like she had taken double the time to do it. She is always so kind and cool and professional, and I ALWAYS walk away feeling great about the way the cut looks.
