My husband and I enjoyed an excellent lunch today at Pipe Creek Wharf. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations — from the drinks and food to the atmosphere and service.
I started with the Nautical Bloody Mary, and it was absolute perfection. The presentation was impressive, featuring a stuffed pepperoncini and olive garnish that felt almost like an appetizer in itself. The flavors were well-balanced, and the cocktail was both refreshing and satisfying.
For an appetizer, we ordered the Pretzel Bites & Beer Cheese. Served hot and fresh, the bites were soft and addictive — the kind of starter you can't help but keep reaching for.
We decided to share the Pulled Pork Sammy, along with an order of fries and the Green Apple Slaw. The sandwich was generously sized, easily enough for two, and delicious. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of barbecue sauce. The pickled onions and cheddar cheese added the perfect finishing touch, and we especially loved the upgraded brioche buns being used this season — soft, buttery, and a noticeable improvement.
The Green Apple Slaw was also a standout. Tossed in a vinegar-based, slightly sweet dressing, it was a refreshing change from the heavier, mayo-based versions commonly found elsewhere. Every bite felt light, crisp, and perfectly balanced.
We also tried the new fries for 2025, which were a personal highlight. Long, flat, thin, and lightly seasoned, they might be my new all-time favorite fry — perfectly crisp and flavorful without being greasy.
Sitting waterside, enjoying fantastic food, exceptional service, and a sunny spring day made our visit truly memorable. Pipe Creek Wharf continues to impress, and we can’t...
Read moreHave tried this place three months in a row. Knowing it was a new establishment and there was going to be growing pains I have given it three tries. Tonight was the last attempt at going to pipe Creek wharf. An hour and a half wait on a Thursday evening when the place was only half full. No big deal, we enjoy drinks and waited patiently. We had appetizers which were delicious, and if you’re going there, I would suggest the Portobello fries. They are amazing. After waiting an hour and a half for chicken sandwiches we were very happy to enjoy them . Unfortunately, the chicken sandwiches and the french fries were absolutely inedible. After three months of trying, there is no excuse for just how bad the service and food was. If you’re just looking for a place to go have a drink, enjoy. It’s a great place. And a great place with a wonderful view , if you want food in a timely fashion, and will not rip your partial out when you try and bite it go elsewhere.
Revision of my review since the establishment did respond.
Thank you for the response and for attempting to make the customer happy!
Fact check, my review included a few compliments on a suggested app and the atmosphere for drinks was awesome.
My hiding behind a keyboard for a review came after a face to face complaint to the “management “ and having the two inedible main dishes removed from the bill.
As anyone who reads this review can see from the response, the owner of the pipe creek wharf is new to the business and hasn’t learned customer service yet , and this is reflected in both the poor service and quality of the main dish.
I would expect things not to change much with that kind...
Read moreSo I live in a boating community and several residents had told me the same thing... Good Food, Long Wait. That's pretty much was my experience. I will say when we arrived there was one table outside and us inside. So not busy. We were initially waited on by the bartender. She was nice and on it initially. However, as the restaurant became busier, about half full, there seemed to be some communication break down. We were then checked on by another server, which was fine. But minutes later by the bartender, which again, fine. But the bartender said, I'm sorry for the wait... my reply was no big deal another server, just checked on us. Then, I think the other thought the other was helping us and we ended up sitting waiting for any other service or attention. Once we got our bill, it was about another 20 minutes to let us pay them. So like I said, good food, slow service, as I was told. I went through many reviews prior to posting and find it unique the owner says we don't make excuses but then continues in the response to make an excuse. I get the industry is tough, help is hard to come by and things are made from scratch but seat the restaurant to your ability not to capacity if you can't manage to give the deserved attention in a timely manner. Again, good food, will be back but hopefully under better service. Definitely a nice addition...
