Goodfellas Grill and Sports Bar — Restaurant in Sanford

They have good food, but I wasn't thrilled with my last experience. I got a steak and it had a lot of fat/gristle on it. The steak itself was one unison color..no grill marks..just one even color of gray. It was cooked to the right temperature though (medium rare) and was tender..but no seasonings.The flavor on the wings was good..but they were overly hard..too crispy and hard too chew. My alcoholic drink came in a small plastic cup instead of a real glass and I used plastic fork and knife to cut the steak. judt all around cheap vibes...but not cheap prices.Weird. I feel like I paid to much for what I got. The last part that I didn't like was my bill was 50 and 54 if I paid with a credit card. I don't think that's right...credit card fees are apart of doing business For the business owner...not me. I gave $60 in cash to avoid thefees...and the waitress never brought my change back. She just assumed she could keep the $10 . Didn't even ask me if I want change back. The garlic bread, fries, chicken tenders were...

Coming in, pretty dark. Its a sports bar, can probably let it go.

Waitress took awhile to see is, its pretty busy, whatever can probably let it go.

Food took an hour. I know its busy, but server didn't check on us but one time the entire 2 hours it took us to dine here.

Pork chops were almost entirely made of salt.

The rest of the meal was fine. Not Good, but fine.

Tried to play pool during the wait. Paid for the game, racked the balls, cue ball is gone. Asked server for it. Completely ignored. Not until we were begging for the check did we finally get an answer. Manager needed a key and never once came out. We were told we dont know what hes doing.

Unfortunate. Had 4.5 stars. Expected more. Table next to us feeling...

Our 1st visit. The place is dirty, greasy hand prints all over the pexiglass above the booths, fish tank is huge, but looked like muddy river water. The booth table was sticky...

But...this is a sports bar, there were several tv's, 2 bars, tall tables and booths, pool, good music that was not so loud you couldn't enjoy conversation. The decor was good. The menu had plenty of choices, not overly pricey. We had bone in wings (they dont have wet wipes, so ask for a cup of water and extra napkins) boneless chicken bites, grilled shrimp and chips. Beer had option, bottle, can or draft.

Our server, was really cute, polite, did a great job.

We definitely will be back, hopefully for an evening out...
