If I could give them a lower ranking I would. I used Farmer's in Rockingham NC. Had a greeeeat experience. Used this location the first time and had a great experience. There has been nothing but dissatisfaction ever since. The people they have do not know what they are doing. Once I called to pay over the phone and the girl told me I could not because my card was not working. I assume someone was listening because after the 3rd time, someone else took the phone and processed my payment in about 15 seconds. Every time they click a button during your set up or purchase, their system adds more interest no matter the action they are performing on your account.
I had to file a BBB complaint and closed the complaint because I thought my issue was resolved. BE AWARE*** If you make any changes to your account or even if they make an error, it changes your finance charge every time and they do not an will not advise you of this. **PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION
They sold me a defective living room set. The first was torn and they had staples in it to try to hold it together. It was exchanged. The second was also defective. It was a loveseat so one of the back pillows slumped a lot lower than the other. Instead of replacing it a third time, I had them pick it up after filing a BBB complaint.
I still have a bedset. I called to obtain my balance and to find out what my payments are only to find out that they still have the entire living room set on my account, cannot tell me what my payments are, and I was also advised by Jessica that I would have to drive 45 minutes 1 way to sign a new contract in order foe them to remove it. I work, I am a student, and I have a 10 year old. I do not have time to go out of my way to make up for their errors. had you not sold me garbage to begin with, we would not be here right now.
I have already signed a contract. All they have to do is remove the items they have picked up. So now, they are doing something illegal because they have reclaimed furniture that they still have on my account. I spoke to Joyce to find out if the guys would bring my updated info during pick up. She advised they would not but she could mail it to me or i could pick it up. She said nothing about my having to drive there to accommodate them. I do not have that kind of time.
I WILL NOT be driving there and I will be filing another BBB complaint because they did not say any of this in their response. I will also be posting to social media and have all my friends post to social media with pics if this is not resolved immediately.

Read moreI urge everyone to please NEVER go to this store. THE customer service is the rudest I have ever seen. Here is my story. Went to purchase a recliner for my son and husband the end of February. Was told that my son's recliner would be in the first week in March. His birthday was March 17th. I financed both chairs and my monthly payment would be 71 starting April 1. When no chair arrived by March 14th, I called and found out it had actually been delivered March 1st and no one called me. When I picked it up my son had it for 24 hours before it broke. I took it back and they assured me it could be fixed. When the chair was finally fixed on March 31st I asked if they were going to give me a credit for all my troubles of not having that chair for a month and having to go back and forth and was told by the owner that she would credit my payment by $50. So fast forward to dozens of calls in April by a girl named Mirari wanting me to make the 71 payment and me questioning where the 50 credit was. She told me that as long as I made the payment by the end of the month it wouldn't affect my credit. I asked her to find out about my payment and call me back. I then get a call on May 5th asking about making a 142 payment for April and May. I asked about my 50 credit once more and I spoke to the owner who told me she would get the 50 credit applied. Then I was told by Mirari that my payment was 92. I get a phone call today by Cindy the finance manager. She tells me I still owe 50 for my May bill. I asked about the 50 credit and she said it was applied. I said that I needed to tell her what happened and she kept talking to me to the point that I asked her to first let me talk and then she could but she kept interrupting me to the point I got extremely angry and then she got upset because I swore at her so she told me to come in the office since I can't understand and she would show me. I said that I didn't want to deal with her anymore and asked who the manager was and she said she was. I told her that I knew she wasn't because I spoke with a different lady for the credit and that the other lady was the owner and I want to know who she was and what her name was. She kept overtalking me and raising her voice to talk over me and then hung up on me after I told her she was being extremely unprofessional. This lady Cindy was the absolute rudest person I have encountered. She has zero clue what she is doing or what is going on. She has zero clue how to deal with the public. She is the number one problem her as no one else has every given me problems before. If I owe 50 I can pay 50 but the problem is it is the principle. I was supposed to get a credit and wasn't given one. I URGE YOU TO GO SOME WHERE ELSE....
Read moreTerrible customer service. As another review mentioned workers do walk and sit around on their phones, they can take quite awhile to get to you. I financed a mattress set through them. About middle of April the box spring broke. I spoke to the manager and she was more than happy to replace it. Okay great! Days go by and no phone call, so I call her. I was then told paperwork needed to be done and she sent someone out. He came and said indeed it needed to be replaced. Ultimately there was this whole ordeal about having delivery dates, but no delivery, product in the store and then it not being there, said phone calls but no voicemails or missed calls on my end regarding these deliveries. In between all of this I came in and spoke to the manager about options for a bedroom set, I called a few days later and said more payments isn't a route I wanted to take and would check back at another date. Somehow a contract without my consent or signature was drawn up and they tried to delivery the set! Quick to sale, but so slow to replace merchandise. I was pleasant up until I was told it was being delivered and "well there's a contract".. No the hell there isn't without my signature!! I asked for corporates number, she apologized and tried to make it right. The contract they took upon themselves to make was cancelled and she was going to get me a boxspring. I googled corporates number myself, both people I spoke to were wonderful. I had a temporary box spring that day, and the matching one was delivered about a week or so later! Furniture quality is the about the same as Aaron's which is nice, if you need to finance you have to make a decision of whether you want decent customer service and double interest (Aaron's) or sucky customer service and reasonable interest. A plus for farmers is lower payments as well. I saved corporates number for Farmers and will continue to do business there as long as corporate continues to stay awesome!
