H & M Restaurant — Restaurant in Sanford

My wife and I stopped in at H & M Restaurant in Sanford, FL on our way to Leesburg. We were amazed at the Great Prices and service! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but if you stop in you will be glad you did! Prices are out of this world! For instance I ordered a Philly Cheese Sub w/fries and a Dr. Pepper. My wife ordered a Chicken Stir Fry and a Iced Tea. The total cost with tax was only $24.20. That was pleasantly appreciated! Don't judge this place by it's outside appearance. Do stop in and you won't be disappointed! Large portions of food, great prices and excellent service will follow! We will definitely return there in the future! I highly recommend this little family owned restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal for breakfast or lunch! ...

I was going to this place faithfully and recently I ordered the blackened fish with sautéed onions and received liver on top of my blackened fish with onion they did not accommodate me at all and just recently I ordered a spinach and turkey omelette and instead of spinach they put green peppers. The lady that got on the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE EXTREMELY!!!! Began to yell and tell me I ordered wrong and read off a incorrect order and I always get the same two entrees every time. I told her I would take my business else where and she rudely she ok bye! Usually Ms. Sarah is nice but the other older lady is very rude and has poor customer service in my opinion and I will not go there any more and if anyone ask me I ll tell them...

First and last time going here. My mom and I wanted to try a different place, and wanted to like it. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. The bacon and ham were rotten. We didn’t eat but one bite. The biscuits were like hockey pucks, the grits had no flavor and were cold.

The home fries and gravy were the only things that were good, despite the fact the gravy is obviously from a can. Tastes like Great Value brand from Walmart.

Our waitress was attentive. That’s the only real positive thing I can say.

I don’t understand how everyone raves about this place. It wasn’t worth the drive...
