Came to this location with 4 of my teenagers for a late night snack...and boys being boys, they were goofing off and joking around in the backseat of the truck as we approached the speaker. The woman operating the speaker yelled through the speaker about how she liked her hearing and that she hears things 10x louder through the headset, I apologized for the boys rowdiness and jokingly told her that loud comes along with teenage boys and its hard to avoid and she made some type of snarky, rude, unprofessional remark. I placed our order and it came to $34.38..feeding teenage boys isn't cheap! I pulled up to the window and one woman was working the fryer, another was making sandwiches and the woman that was operating the speaker made the Oreo Stackers and the soft-serve cone that we ordered. I watched them intently because I was afraid the lady that was operating the speaker would do something unsanitary to our food. The blonde woman operating the speaker came to the window and handed me our ice creams and I handed her cash to pay. She gave me the correct change and a couple bags of food. I opened the bags and did a quick check to make sure everything was there, I do that anytime I go to a drive through. I then asked the blonde woman who was operating the speaker and window what her name was and she replied "Checkers" with a BIG attitude so I asked to speak to the manager and she replied that she was the manager and started to get aggressive, yell and cuss, she then slammed and locked the drive through window shut so I pulled away and up to the stop sign at the exit. Its a nice night so all four windows of the truck were rolled down and all the sudden I hear yelling, I look in the side view mirror and the blonde woman is hanging out the front walk up window yelling and cussing at me and my children! I was shocked to say the least! She continued on for what seemed to be a few minutes, I couldn't pull away because the roadway wasn't clear, she continued and started yelling stuff about my kids who were in the car with me, so I pulled out onto 17-92 and back into the parking lot, she continued to yell and cuss from the drive through window and then told me that SHE felt threatened and that she was calling the cops. LOL OK, please do, in order to file a report or have someone trespassed you need to give your name and because she wouldn't tell me her name at the drive through window earlier that would be a great way to obtain it to file a complaint with corporate! I parked my truck, took my ID out of my wallet and waited for Sanford PD to show up. Fast forward about 10-15min and Sanford Police Officer Corey arrives. I approach the cruiser and tell him what happened has asked me a few questions which of course I answered. The officer then told me that Sanford PD get called out to this Checkers location regularly for the same thing, each time a different customer, and the only thing in common with each incident they have been called out to is the manager that was on shift. Officer Corey also told me that the manager refused to give her real name to the dispatcher and that she gave multiple fake ones. I don't know why someone would do that, unless they had a warrant or something out against them. Officer Corey then gave me an incident number and told me to please call and make a complaint with the General Manager and Corporate. He seemed quite annoyed that he was called out to yet another incident involving this manager. He told me to avoid going back to Checkers, and to leave. I thanked him for his time and got back into the truck with the boys, who had already inhaled ALL THE FOOD! LOL! Thankfully they didn't touch my apple pie! After I got home, I checked the bag and thankfully her name was on the receipt attached to the bag, the shift managers name tonight is Chelsea K, if you have had a run in with her at Checkers, I urge you to file a complaint with the general manager and corporate. Unfortunately, one of the boys got sick after eating his chicken sandwich, I hope she didn't do something...

To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the service my sister and I experienced while she was completing an Uber order at your location.
It was raining when we arrived, and my sister went inside to pick up the order. There were only two people in front of her, and she patiently waited for her turn. However, when it was finally her turn, the customer representative was dismissive and unprofessional. The representative told her it was not her turn, laughed at her, and then rolled her eyes. Despite my sister clarifying that she was there to pick up an order and providing the customer’s name, the representative deliberately allowed two other customers to go ahead of her.
After this, we proceeded through the drive-thru line since it was raining. Unfortunately, nothing was resolved. Another representative eventually came to speak with us, but by that time, there was already a line of 12 cars, and over 30 minutes had passed. The order was still not ready.
We are simply trying to make a living, and the way this location is managed is highly unprofessional and frustrating. The behavior of the representative was completely unacceptable and disrespectful. I strongly urge management to address this matter, as no customer or delivery driver should ever be treated this way.
I expect a follow-up regarding this complaint and what corrective action will be taken to ensure this does not happen again.
Sincerely, Real reviewer 930pm-10:35pm Description of representative Heavy set Blonde hair Blk Hoodie
Update – 10:43 PM
When we followed up about the order again, the representative told another employee, “she can wait.” She then stated that all Uber Eats drivers would have to wait until after the regular customers were served. As a result, twelve cars were allowed to go through ahead of us, and more than an hour passed before the order was addressed.
This level of service is completely unacceptable. Not only was the order severely delayed, but the dismissive and discriminatory attitude toward delivery drivers shows a lack of professionalism...
Read moreSuper hungry for Checkers, we ordered their awesome special 4 for $4.00. Everything starts out as normal. We pay, and then we are asked to park to wait for our food. I didn't mind that too much since 2 of our burgers were special order. First complaint: they didn't give us straws for our drinks. So my son got out of the car (since we were parked) to get straws, waited at the window for a while only to come back empty-handed saying, "they never opened the window to talk to me". Really? They couldn't even ask what he needed? Second complaint: the very nice employee lady (that's not the complaint) brings our food with an extra 3 milkshakes telling me that they didn't have any pies so they replaced them with shakes. Now, the kids loved the shakes, but I'm allergic to milk & was really looking forward to the pie. I appreciate that they gave me something else for dessert, but it would've been nice to know when I was ordering that they didn't have it. So we asked the very nice employee lady to please bring us straws, which she then said, we don't have any. Seriously? Stock the place people! Third yet most important complaint: I start drinking my drink, & when I look down low & behold there's a mosquito in my drink. As calmly as I can, I put my drink down & tell the kids to check their food for "extras". Thankfully my drink was the only one that had "extras", but I'm extremely disappointed (& grossed out) with Checkers today! I told the kids to remind me if we're ever craving Checkers to never come back...
