I normally come into the store, but I worked overnight and I work morning shift. I got off of work to go pick up my kids at 1:50 and I called the establishment to be able to place an order online after I got it settled in the lady said that she put my order in. It’ll be ready in 20 minutes. I waited in my school my kids school For over 20 minutes in the pick up line as soon as I got done I drove from Winter Springs to Sanford when I make it to the store the young lady who took my order act like she was so confused on my order so it never got put in the system so you told me that my order would be ready in 20 minutes and once I make it there, You didn’t put my order in while we was on the phone. I asked to speak to a manager, which I was told no Manager wasn’t in Store when I made it there the Manager Nona Was at the location so I was like you remember you took my order he kept trying to sell me chicken and I kept telling him I just want the vegetable rice I’m vegan. I don’t eat meat The young lady Alexa that I spoke to over the phone told me it was gonna be ready Which I started recording, which I informed both of them that I was recorded because they was getting rude. I’ve told them like I never placed the order online, but I did it this time because I’m tired and I wanted to just you know pay for my food and leave. I would like to submit this video to corporate so they can see how I was mistreated even with me being respectful yes ma’am, no sir he started speaking to me in Spanish, which you can obvious you could tell. I don’t speak Spanish, so I feel like he was being rude and saying some disrespectful things out of his mouth because he know I didn’t speak Spanish so I would like to go a step further because the professionals know went out the door when you started speaking to me and being rowdy and yelling at the top of your voice, I would like for someone to reach out to me. I can leave my email or I could leave. phone number I did ask for corporate number and nobody wanted to give it to me just like nobody wanted to give me their names so I don’t even know if I got the proper name but if I didn’t, it was located in the Sanford area the most rude disrespectful Customer service that I receive and I really don’t make complaints on nobody because I try not to get no one in trouble, but this one was outrageous. I used to go to this location at minimum 2-3 times a week and never had any issues since opening day.Today, they messed up my order to the point that I felt compelled to call and speak to management. I basically threw away 50 dollars in food and left the employees a tip. The person who answered phone never identified themselves and kept telling me to go ahead. When I asked if he was the manager. He said yeah, go ahead. I asked his name and he hesitated, that was a red flag for me because it gives perspective that I’m dealing with a shady individual or just a person lacking credentials to be manager. His name is Reynaldo. I gave him my order number and expressed what was wrong with order. He apparently lacks listening skills because he ignored what articulated to him, reads me my order back on the receipt and proceeded to babble how the order was right. I told him I can send him pictures so he can see the discrepancies as to how the food was prepared vs what was ordered. Read moreMy visit to La Granja was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I ordered a ceviche, hoping for a refreshing start, but instead, I got a dish that practically numbed my mouth with the overwhelming amount of monosodium they must have dumped in there. It was more like eating a chemical experiment gone wrong than enjoying a delicate seafood dish.
To make matters worse, I decided to give their lomo saltado a try, and it was equally revolting. The meat was tough and chewy, as if it had been cooked, reheated, and cooked again to the point of being unrecognizable. The flavors were bland, the texture was off-putting, and overall, it was just a miserable experience.
The service matched the food in its mediocrity. The waitstaff seemed disinterested and inattentive, as if they couldn't wait to get us out of there. I left feeling both disappointed and slightly queasy from whatever concoction they passed off as food.
I wouldn't recommend La Granja to my worst enemy. Save your money and your taste buds, and find somewhere...
