Colombian Comfort: A Soulful Experience at Coffee for the Soul When I first stumbled upon "Coffee for the Soul," I had no idea that I was about to experience something extraordinary. Tucked away next to a restaurant I was familiar with, this gem of a café immediately caught my eye with its authentic, warm decor that transported me straight to Colombia. Little did I know that this wasn’t just a coffee shop—it was a full-fledged culinary haven offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all served at any time during their open hours. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the aroma of freshly brewed Colombian coffee, a scent so rich and inviting that it felt like a comforting embrace. The ambiance of the place is undeniably cool, with a vibe that effortlessly blends tradition with a modern twist. It's the kind of spot where you feel instantly at home, yet subtly adventurous, as if you've just discovered a secret hideaway known only to the most discerning coffee lovers. But what truly set this experience apart was Raul, our server. Raul didn’t just take our order; he engaged us in a conversation that felt more like catching up with an old friend. When I mentioned that I had traveled to Colombia, his eyes lit up. He enthusiastically recommended various dishes and even offered tips for my next trip, saying, "Next time you go to Colombia, come back, get a coffee, and we'll talk—I’ll give you some ideas on where to go." This level of personalized service is something you simply don’t encounter every day. Raul’s passion for his culture and his job shone through, making the experience not just about the food or the coffee, but about a connection to something larger. The coffee itself? Absolutely phenomenal. It’s the kind of coffee that makes you slow down and savor each sip, appreciating the craftsmanship and care that went into brewing it. And the best part? This incredible place is right next to my house, making it not just a convenient spot, but a new favorite that I know I’ll be returning to again and again. In a world full of cookie-cutter coffee shops and rushed service, "Coffee for the Soul" stands out as a beacon of authenticity and warmth. Whether you’re looking for a place to relax with a cup of extraordinary coffee, a spot to grab a delicious meal at any hour, or simply a place to feel at home, this café delivers on all fronts. I can’t wait to go back and continue the conversation with Raul over another perfect cup of coffee.

I’ve been a loyal fan of this franchise for years. I’ve frequently visited both the Lake Mary and Sanford locations since they opened, as well as others across Florida. But this last experience was beyond disappointing. As soon as I walked in, the overpowering smell of incense was almost unbearable — and I’m talking about just waiting 15 minutes. This place no longer feels like a Latin café. It’s more of an Indian -style café, and they should clearly state that, because not everyone enjoys flavors like cumin in everything they serve. The empanadas were hard, dry, with a strong unpleasant smell, and the flavor reminded me more of Indian food than anything Latin. I ordered two coffees — all of them were cold, lacked flavor, and were just full of milk. The service was awful. Worst of all, I witnessed the woman at the register (the owner I guess) treating a Hispanic employee very poorly, both verbally and with disrespectful gestures. It was extremely uncomfortable to watch, especially since the employee had done nothing wrong. We paid over $50 for two empanadas, an inedible “tequeño,” and three coffees (including one I didn’t order). To top it off, they added $14 in gratuity. I don’t know if there was a change in ownership, but something definitely changed — and not for the better. This is no longer the place I used to love. I won’t be coming back.

I only stopped in to finish an assignment on my laptop thinking they were a simple Cafe. Only they didn't have wifi. Or at least I couldn't find it to get on it. Not a big deal. I only ordered a drink because I wanted to order something if I was going to sit in there for a little bit. There menu is pretty pricey for my budget. I just don't think breakfast should be starting at almost $15 a plate. Especially when the quantity is so little. Even the drink I ordered was not worth what I paid for it. The decor in this place is very relaxing and cozy. The bathroom is designed beautifully and the establishment was extremely clean. Service was fine. There wasn't much of anyone in there so I got helped right away. Overall, the food on the menu looked very appetizing but due to the prices I may not return to this Cafe but nothing negative to say really. Just not for me.

I had a fantastic time at CFS Coffee Sanford! The coffee is absolutely delicious – they offer a great variety, and everything is expertly prepared. You can really taste the quality of the beans and the care that goes into every cup. My cappuccino was smooth, perfectly hot, and beautifully presented.

The service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and quick. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home. They’re happy to make recommendations and go the extra mile to ensure you have a great experience.

The atmosphere is warm and stylish, with a cozy, modern design. It’s the kind of place where you want to stay for hours – whether you’re working, reading, or just enjoying your drink. Plenty of comfortable seating and a clean, well-kept space.

CFS Sanford has definitely become one of my favorite spots. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great coffee, excellent service, and a...
