Port paradise lounge — Restaurant in Sanford

Walked up, every table was covered in dishes and needed clearing. Bartenders were grumbling about struggling to make beverages for customers. It took a few minutes, but we found out that we had to order order at the bar which smelled vinegary of old liquor. Daughter had the chicken flatbread. It was actually really good. The old blonde lady has been there since it opened and can’t make a drink. Wine is stale. Place is very unclean and nasty. The health department probably needs to come for inspection. Crusted food stuck on walls. Bar smells like mold. Gnats and bugs flying all over the place. Last night they had NO food. Avoid this place like the plague. Quite literally so awful. The lady the works there said they stayed open until 10. Our flight got delayed on 5/8/23 and was stuck for an extra 3 hours with nothing to do. So I ordered a glass of wine before I headed to my gate and all she wanted to do was huff and puff when all she had to do was open a bottle of wine and pour into a plastic cup and check me out. Super ridiculous. And I typically tip pretty good....
