So I'm going to try to keep this short but I have been a customer of Sal's for a very long time. I've been going to the same place before it was even called Sal's. Simply put, I have spent a lot of money @ your establishment. Anyways today one of your employees was incredibly rude to me. Let me point out that you guys have one teeny tiny no smoking sign and it's right in front of where you order. I went up to the window to ask if the woman could please put some water in a soda can for me and I was smoking a cigarette and due to there only being one sign and I was sitting at the picnic tables so I never saw it, she very rudely said "No, I can't. Do you not see my sign on the side of my building?! No smoking!" And then continue to slam the window in my face. Everybody else at your establishment has been really kind to us but to treat me in that way when she didn't even know where the no smoking sign was, she stuck her head out while she was talking to me looking for it and couldn't even find it. My point is, if you don't want people smoking, maybe there should be more signs and next time maybe treat a repeat customer a little bit better. I can definitely see why she had two black eyes. I was in no way rude to her and I get she may be stressed but your serving ice cream. Go do handyman work and trees like I do and then see what tired really is. I had to walk 3 miles up there and I got pizza at Little Caesars and maybe she was upset with us because we didn't order today and we were just sitting at the tables but that honestly shouldn't be an issue we weren't taking away seating from other customers and we weren't creating a scene, we were just trying to enjoy our food while it was still hot before we had to walk 3 miles home I was going to ask my fiance to get us some ice cream after but after being treated like that...

The girl taking our order in the window acted like she was annoyed by us being there. The girl with the long blonde hair. The whole time we were at the window she was rolling her eyes and when we asked questions she just gave us this annoyed look, And gave us very short answers and then rolling her eyes. I Don't think i will be bringing my family back...it is so uncomfortable to feel like you are being a bother to someone who is serving you. There were 4 of us, and after observing the girls attitude everytime the next person ordered, one person in our party decided that she would just go without and didn't order. Sorry, but no matter how good your product is..if your people are rude to your customers you will not have returning customers. The sad part about it is that we are first time customers, this is our first time here and that is why we were asking her questions about the menu and were expecting info on the flavors and her suggestions, sadly this was our experience. This was the second time I had visited Sal’s. The first time I visited the same young lady there today was rude because my granddaughter asked if she could have sprinkle after the young lady had scooped the ice cream. Granted, I pay the additional cost, but she still huffed and puffed about that as if it were a major inconvenience, then gave a passive aggressive “Thank you”.
Today, not only did I witness the rudeness, the guy in front of me said, “she’s not nice”. When we walked up she said she wasn’t taking walk ups. There were about 6 cars, so it was busy. It was only the guy in front of me and my daughter. The cashier was the only person working both days I visited. My concern is how is this a customer’s issue that you are working alone that you would be so rude? The establishment needs to hire more or get rid of the person with the bad attitude, because you will loose customers. Especially , if like me, people read reviews.
