Let me start with I have personally never lived here however my brother has for two years and let me tell you there is a lot to tell. This woman Carmen, she is a slumlords manager at its finest. She increases rent without notice and it is not what the owner tells you when you establish a rent price. She doesn’t want you to call him about anything. She doesn’t repair any issues at all he had waste coming up through his sink for 3 months. I told him he must have her fix this. I went to his tiny apartment let then 300 sq ft he pays over 2100 a month and doesn’t get anything fixed stove didn’t work for over 5 months. She is clearly drunk most of the time as you can smell it on her. She is a poor manager and will call the police on you because she doesn’t like your response to her outlandish remarks and comments. The police literally look at her like she is crazy and have labeled her as a slumlord. I would stay clear of this place. She takes advantage of people big time. The owner needs to pay closer attention. This place could have potential with the right person in place. If you want to get a feel for this property walk into the front desk "lobby". Our room came with a crunchy sounding mattress that was still wrapped in the original plastic. Pillows and blanket are paper thin. So are the towels. One of them with decorative stains. I almost opted for sleeping in my car instead.
