Island Time Tiki Bar — Restaurant in Sanibel

Heard the tiki bar reopened and had to check it out for myself. I walked over from the beach and I am pleased to report that it is AWESOME! The setup is almost identical to what it was before Ian, but better. Bobby, Krystal, and Jaycell were so kind. They were very busy but you can tell they’re invested. They made phenomenal drink recommendations and the food was better than what I remember. I used to love their quesadillas and that’s what I got this time, and it was so good. The prices are very affordable compared to other places on the island. The bocce ball court is no longer there, however they mentioned that they would be bringing back live music. I am so excited that the tiki bar is back and I highly recommend stopping by for one of their awesome new drinks when you get a chance.

It was a perfect mix of beach vibes, great food, and laid-back atmosphere. The setting alone is worth it—near the water with breezy open seating, and that relaxed island energy.

The fish and chips were perfectly golden, crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The coconut shrimp had a light, crispy coating with just the right amount of sweetness, paired with a tangy dipping sauce that balances it out beautifully.

Service is friendly and unhurried, which matches the island setting perfectly. Grab a cold drink, pick something to snack on, and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Happy to see Island Time back! We had great service and yummy drinks. Mikey G and Cass-erole behind the bar were very knowledgeable, friendly and down to earth. You should visit just to meet them! The grounds around the property are also back & beautiful. We talked with the GM of the restaurants on property, Andrew for a while. Can’t forget the bartender at Dante’s, Shoobbert ⭐️.
