First of all, I want to compliment Blaze Pizza on their delicious made to order pizza! Once I introduced it to my husband, it's his favorite. He loves it so much that he even downloaded the Blaze Pizza app to enjoy the benefits of a regular customer.
Now, here's the kicker. Has Blaze changed their pizza-making policy? It appears so as this is the very first time, since Blaze's inception, that we've encountered the most stingiest, rudest and ignorant Blaze employees ever!
1st: Did Blaze change their app format? Even though, Angela claimed an "email" was sent, we got no notification to update the app at all. Blaze needs up make sure their employees know how to use the "updated" Blaze app. Angela was absolutely no help at all. She said we could just enter the receipt into the app once we got it figured out. Needless to say, we got no credit for the 2 "build your own" pizzas we ordered. Both Angela and Ariana didn't know how to maneuver the Blaze app! Frustrating
2nd: Angela took our order along with another customer's and when our order was being rung up, Ariana charged us, in addition to our 2 pizzas, the next customer's Pizza! Blaze should teach their cashiers to confirm the order before ringing it up! If I hadn't paid attention, my husband might have paid for the extra Pizza!
3rd: Angela started making our pizzas, but Ariana finished it. On my Pizza, I only wanted 3 ingredients...pepperoni, mushrooms, and Spinach. My husband usually gets about 6 or more ingredients on his (that's DOUBLE the amount of ingredients that I get!). So, I ask Ariana to give me more pepperoni, mushrooms, and spinach (Ariane literally only gave me 4 spinach leaves - which barely covered the pizza!). What's with the stinginess? Is Blaze getting CHEAP like Pieology,
4th: Angela then marches over and RUDELY tells me that I'm limited to the quantities on the 3 ingredients. What's the difference if I got double helpings of the 3 ingredients which is tantamount to getting 6+ different ingredients like my husband got? Angela was so RUDE! It's behavior like that that we stopped going to Pieology.
5th: Blaze needs to teach their employees that every customer is important. My daughter's 2.5 yr old foster son wanted water and I told him to ask Ariana for a cup (since she was closest to the walkway where my short little foster grandchild could see her and ask). Ariana not only didn't acknowledge him, but she IGNORED HIM! I couldn't believe it! My foster grandson spoke with clarity (he'll be 3 in one week), so I know he could be understood. It's not like Blaze was brimming with customers and the place was noisy. We were there at 4:00 pm! Only two other customers was seated. Ariana just chose to IGNORE him! How can you teach an almost 3-yr old to speak up, if they are ignored?
6th: What happened to the friendliness of Blaze, where customers...
Read moreHonestly I'm not the type to make bad reviews because I know how hard it can get towards the end of the day but, this time I was completely unsatisfied with the overall experience of the visit. I was the only person in line for about 5 minutes, then the employee tried to take the order of the person behind me despite being there before others. I asked a question about the garlic bread and I was answered with silence . While I was getting my pizza prepared by that same employee, I was noticing that he was dumping the watery residue from some of the wet ingredients onto my pizza I kindly asked for the basil to be chopped or at least ripped and my request was ignored. I asked for a bit of salt and most of it was dumped on a single section making two slices completely inedible. My garlic cheese bread was completely saturated with garlic on half only and the other half had no cheese compared to the other. I felt completely disrespected towards the end of my experience at this location because the lights were turned off on me and two other groups of people in the store without any warning. I typically never have this issue but this time it was just...
Read moreI should have read the Yelp reviews before coming here. My family and I were driving by and saw Blaze (a pizza place we normally LOVE in other towns) so we decided to stop and eat. There were only two other ladies eating inside the establishment but getting our pizzas took forever! I have never ever waited so long to get a pizza. The girl that made the them placed them on the pizza rack and not into the oven. She started helping another employee do something else! She eventually got around to putting it into the oven but at that point my family and I were extremely irritated. At this point we were the only people inside the building... and waiting! I asked for extra ranch for my kids and the man said only one ranch per pizza. Not to mention the "tiny" ranch containers aren't even full! They're maybe halfway filled. He eventually allowed the employee to hand me a couple more but he wasn’t happy about it and let it show. We will never EVER be back to this place. Go elsewhere people....trust me. With all the bad reviews and nothing about this place changing, I'm pretty sure they're happy with how...
