Cancun Juice Fresh Mex Grill — Restaurant in Santa Ana

BE CAREFUL WITH THE MANAGER ERICA HERE. WORST MANAGER EVER. I went to your Santa Ana store today to pick up lunch for my staff like normal. We enjoy the food from Cancun Juice. I drove 10 min to your location to pick it up. Ordered 2 tortas, 2 huaraches, and taquitos. Your employee told me my order was ready. It was super busy and I opened the bag and saw black boxes and the torta. I figured everything was there. Got back to work. There was only 1 torta. One was missing. I called the store. It was busy. Busy for 5 min. Finally someone answered. Said her name was Erica. I explained that there was a torta missing from my order. She put me on hold. She gets back on the line and states that the man who helped me in the store says he put both in. What? I already handed out the food to my staff. There was only 1 torta. She says she will put me on hold again to go check the camera. Again on hold. She gets back on the line and says she is too busy to look at the camera. She says I can come down and get the torta. I said no, I will go back and get my money back since I don’t want to drive another 20 min for 1 torta. She says no she wont give back the money. I ask for the manager. She says she is the manager. I ask for the owners name. She says she wont give it to me, that I can go online to find it. I did. Linkedin shows Antonio Alvarez as one of the principals for Cancun Juice. I love Cancun as an establishment. This location however is your typical I don't care about service and speak about you in Spanish while you're standing there type place. State College and Lincoln is great they actually have customer service. This location however don't care. I placed an order for a burrito and they gave me a pager after a decent amount of time I saw my pager blink so I thought my order was up. I walked in but it ended up not being ready so I decided to just stand there and wait patiently. They were filling a big to-go order before mine while they were feeling it I see a burrito towards the back on a tray I assume it could be mine. It just sat there for a while unattended then I see one of the female servers stare at me then I get paranoid that maybe something's wrong with it. Then the odor head cook looks at me while speaking to the same waitress. Then I get more paranoid that they're either doing something to my food or maybe just fixing a mistake. Then I see the old cook stand close to the waiter and put something in her pocket while standing next to my food tray. Then for some reason the cook took an already cooked burrito threw it back on the grill and minutes later put it on a tray and gives it to me. Then he turns around and says Wala to the female worker. As if he accomplished something. All in all I love Cancun. But this location will be the last time. It was obvious something was up. and they dealt with it in a very unprofessional manner I sure hope that maybe I just ate a burrito that fell on the ground vs workers screwing with my food on purpose. 10-10-17 at 2pm. Please don't compare this place to Jamba juice. Rule number 2 if you are a non Spanish speaker it's all good. Number 3 stop reading this review and come here already.

If you work in Irvine or Tustin this is a short drive away, the food is so good bring it back to work and make everyone jealous. I don't want to over hype it but it's pretty good. There are many times when I want juice or some other drink and I want food with it. For example, I want boba milk tea but at Tapioca Express the drinks suck and food is decent. At Starbucks the drinks are good the snacks and food are disgusting. Also the juiceit up is okay but I don't want to make another stop to get food. The solution to my problems CANCUN JUICE!

I love the fact I can get a Torta and juice without it being an odd combination. I can't wait to go back here. I will need to call in my order because everything is cooked when ordered so you won't get any precooked food. Thank you Rachel T for the recommendation.
