Costa Azul — Restaurant in Santa Ana

The worst service I have ever experienced. Tbh I don't really write reviews that much but this one It just sucked for me, waited 30 minutes to get seated although (it wasn't busy. ) no host greeted me and my gf . Didn't know we could sit at the bar instead of waiting because NO hosts was there to tell us. I understand low staffing, what I don't understand is being seated in the far back conner and not seeing a watires 5-7 minutes and when she comes finally with some chips and Salas ( chips were cold not a usual thing) tryed to order but rushed off. Seeing family's who have came 5 minutes after us being seat, seeing there orders getting taken. And knowing the food takes 24-30 minutes to cook. We just got up and left it didnt seem that they cared one bit. The staff just watched us leave. went to del taco was in and out with in 5 minutes. The crazy part about this experience I have visited there other branch on flower and 17th st is a total complete different atmosphere. We ordered two margaritas and the one my friend got (she ordered a lemon Margarita) was served with the oldest lemon ever! Flavor was ok since it was not really strong. We went on a Wednesday night and they had karaoke, lots of music selection to sing ( English and Spanish) Since it was not crowded, pretty much it was empty, we went and asked for cumbias to dance and the karaoke lady was owesom! Not only played the music we wanted to dance but made us feel welcome and content, by the way she has an incredible beautiful voice (she sang some karaoke songs too ) The place is clean and neat, friendly service (waitresses /waiters) we didn't try the food since we had already ate before. Bathrooms are OK, not quite maintained ( harware wise) but decently clean. No pictures since we were having too much fun, lol! Over all nice place to go for a fun casual weekday nite, not sure about weekends but based on tonight experience it's probably great time to go too. Poor😫😣😖The service and attention were horrible. I order a tosada of crab ceviche jaiva the waitress forgot or the chef never made? Place was not busy not sure why it took them so long, maybe they had to get from the fisherman? She then came as i had to keep waving at her to get her attention, she apoligize and ask if i wanted something i told her what happened to my tostada she went to check and ask and came back asked if i wanted something else since the chef didnt make🤔 i asked for a beef soup and took a long time? After the long wait , i wave her down again and she finally came and she stated oh it takes a long time to make😫i said just cancel it. Never going back...
