Absolute FIVE star to the Sideshow of Horrors, I loved seeing all of the clowns! It was AWESOME. However, the staff is rude, unkind, not friendly and overall unprofessional. Overall when I went, the staff was talking down so poorly to some clowns when they didn't do anything. I thought they were volunteers? Abuse of power much? Just cause you have a shirt that says staff on it, it means you can name call and treat them like that? Very bad first impression. Again, the clowns and theme made this place come together, otherwise this place is only good for school field trips for kids that won't remember it in a year anyways.
Edit: To respond to the owner's response. I would like to kindly agree to disagree with your defense of the staff not being part of the museum. The shirts they were wearing, some were yellow and some were black, the black ones clearly stated "museum staff" and they were screaming at the clowns that literally didn't do anything. I know this because I was actually there just sitting and drawing the clowns for fun and relaxation. I had plenty of time to observe. I understand some clowns were out of place, but yelling at the ones that didn't do anything? Event staff or your staff, doesn't matter. It's on YOUR property. Your property, your responsibility. Am I correct? Thank you for the time getting back to me but I...
Read moreFirst and foremost let me start off by saying this..wow!!!! I was absolutely amazed by the staff. Highly recommend 10/10. My partner and I went to attend the ghost tour and let me say this. I am a believer in the paranormal and supernatural and my partner is some what of skeptic and I must say out of all the places we been to I was so excited. The spirits that reside here are very welcoming. We were greeted by Kaitlyn and the wonderful Darcy. These two dynamic duo made the experience so much fun. We arrived 20 minutes early and we were allowed to roam the grounds with a few rules. I was impressed by the knowledge these amazing ladies had. They were astonishing and so kind. I honestly felt welcomed especially in the presence of Mrs. Helen herself. I would love to talk about more of my experience I've had here but I would like to say this. If you are looking for some ghostly encounter this is the spot your guranteed to meet some spooky friends. Thank you so much Darcy and Kaitlyn were going to come back for our wedding these dynamic duo need a raise. Make sure you guys don't disrespect mrs. Helen cause she will def kick you out. I can't wait to come back and bring some...
Read moreAs you enter the venue, you are transported back in time. The gardens remind you of a time when people enjoyed sitting in a gazebo visiting with their guests. The pergolas are covered with vines and lead you for a walk through the gardens. The main house is well maintained and you experience the heritage of the area. Also, the Carriage House is a testament to the past. Beautiful venue for events.
We attended Las Mujeres Market event at the Heritage Museum of Orange. This was an outdoor market of artisans. The booths were situated take advantage of the Museum's grounds. Since this was a very large event, parking was limited. When we visited, the school next to the Museum was open for public parking. We do not know if this is the norm but it was very helpful because the Museum is in a residential area. The grounds are easily accessible and the restrooms were clean.
Recommend attending any future events Las Mujeres Market may have at the venue. Especially enjoyed the Jimenez Sisters Ranch and there goat milk body and bath product. They even brought a couple of...
