I want to take the time to commend your #130 location on Tustin Ave & Santa Clara Ave in Santa Ana. The manager Jonathan does an outstanding job of greeting his customers in a friendly manner and is very thorough with processing orders. I go to that location just about every morning M - F and get the opportunity to interact with Jonathan on a regular basis. He's incredibly personable & professional. I believe he goes above & beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied with their food orders. For me personally, he's served me freshly brewed coffee which is an added bonus because I really like the coffee offered at Del Taco. I've also observed Jonathan making sure his store is clean & tidy not only indoors, but out in the parking lot as well. He daily goes out there to sweep up trash and several cigarette butts left by customers. I'm one of the smokers out there, but have assured him that I do pick up my cigarette butts and throw them in the trash. He's very appreciative of that fact and has expressed his gratitude to me. Finally, the variety of menu choices is fantastic! Next time, I'd like to try your new slow -cooked carnitas burrito! In closing, I believe this particular location's productivity & high rating is attributed to Jonathan's own high standards for his store. I've observed how he treats his employees with kindness & respect. That element of mutual respect & courtesy is vital for any restaurant to thrive! Read moreI went in today (12:20pm) and my total was $4.79. the lady (short hair, short and chubby. Think she's a manager🤦🏻♀️) didn't give me my change from the $5 I gave her (didn't give me a receipt when they have too) and yet proceeded to have an attitude and be rude when I asked how much is the mini shake plus tax. She says "read it. It says it up there" everytime I go to this store and deal with that lady, she's ALWAYS having an attitude and honestly it makes me uncomfortable to be treated that way as a customer. Oh when I was ordering my last item she makes a comment as in "thank God" like she didn't want me in the store. If that's how managers treat their customers I won't waste money there.

**Update: Had to update because I just left here after visiting with my 5-year old. We had just gotten our food when my kid grabbed the fries upside down and dropped them all over the booth seat. No big deal, we cleaned up and went to let the restaurant know. The older gentleman was rude, didn’t believe me and/or thought that I was lying 🤷🏻♀️ to get free food or something. I just said that we needed new fries and he kept looking over at our table like we were lying! Why would I lie about $2 fries! I felt uncomfortable and disrespected.
