Fairview Char-Broiler — Restaurant in Santa Ana

I would give this place 4.35 stars, so nowhere near 5, but better than your average 4 star place. No sign, but they take card. Parking, seating and bathrooms are all accessible. Bathrooms aren't good, would only use the urinal if needed, ladies I figure you are out of luck, didn't look, but just a guess. Tables are kept clean, trashcan needs to be wiped off, makes sense, they do have a good amount of customers coming in. Tile flooring is Earth tone from the 70's, which is kinda cool that it is still here. Fans are a bit dusty, seating needs some love. When I placed my order I asked what was good, was told pancakes or eggs and bacon. Slightly disappointed they didn't have something nontraditional that was really good. Location seems very safe, so that is great. As for the food, the sourdough toast was better than most places, bread was thicker and think they use butter on it. Eggs were perfect, not overdone, so whoever is working the grill knows their stuff. Potatoes were great, except no flavor, nothing. Used a little salt, pepper and the random Tabasco-esque sauce and they were then fine. Seems like a nice enough place, staff are nice and doing their jobs, food is decent and exactly what you would expect for the price. Would come here again if I were in the area, would not go out of my way, and may or may not bring others, depends on...

Great service from the cashier Wait time: About 8 minutes Good presentation, since you dine in… they bring it to you. Simple Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and sauce. It comes with what seems like 2-pounds of fresh French fries. Nice and hot. They got Pepsi products and I went with a Dr. Pepper. It’s not Self-Serve, but they will do it for you if you’re a paying customer.… Dining room was not busy. Plenty of seating room. They have condiments on the tables, so make sure you got what you need to eat (ketchup, salt, hot sauce, etc.) They have Soups, a variety of Specials and Breakfast is served ALL DAY! A definite Plus for me! Restaurant was clean. Parking lot had some light debris, plenty of parking around the restaurant though. Restrooms do need love. It looks like someone graffitied the inside the men’s room and it just got cleaned up. A plumber probably needs to be called too. That flush valve should get...

The owner and his wife or daughter are Pleasant however the employees when you ask for a refill the first one they gave me no ice I sent it and then she said she did which obviously was a lie there's no ice and she had an attitude about it, then she brought a cup of ice after lying to me about it.

And then it says free refills after my first refill and ask for a second refill they want to charge me I mean if it says 1 refill I would know ahead of time but there was no signs posted and they seem a little prejudice against White , speaking for one particular employee who was the female

I realize I got cousins nieces nephews aunts and uncle who are Spanish some are Mexican American and someone from directly from Mexico and grandkids who are bilingual I have business associates from Mexico I do business back and forth in Mexico besides Africa

They need to remove that sign and replace it with one free refill !

I recommend going to Dukes right down the street on Warner and Fairview
