5+ stars to the kitchen! Great food. I can only vouch for their vegetarian items. Everything we have ordered so far have been excellent!

I don't want the amazing kitchen staff to be affected by poor service by the rest of their team.

The service team missed an item from my order, yet again. It was not during rush hours or even near closing time. They even told me they remember they missed items from my last order when I started opening the bag to check. Before I could finish checking they even realized exactly which item was missing! It's quite bizarre!

Then you will have to wait however long it takes for them to prepare the missing item. And if you realize something missing after you get home then you will have to drive back to essentially out in the boonies to pick up again.

I still tipped them. To their credit, they did compensate by adding the missing item from my last order even before I arrived. I just wish I didn't have to wait for the missing item after a long drive (with more to drive after).

And a minor issue with online ordering from their website, it kept erroring out--I tried at least 4 different cards. They did take phone order instead. But I spent 20 minutes doing all this which otherwise should have taken 3...

I was craving for an authentic south indian food near my place but most of them are north indian restaurant and I found "Kannapa" on google so, we just thought of giving it a try. When we reached the restaurant the set up was totally different, it is not a typical dine in restaurant, it's only a kitchen space (shared by 4 different kitchens) with waiting area. You need to order food on the monitor in the waiting area and wait to collect your food. Kannan the owner of Kannapa himself showed up when I was selecting my order and patiently asked and listened to my specific taste. The food was amazing and mouth watering... I would definitely place my party orders here next time as they are doing catering service too. I would highly recommend this place to anybody who loves south indian food or even wanted to try an authentic south indian food for the first time.

We were vacationing in Anaheim and needed authentic South Indian food for ourselves and our son. The menu had variety and options that are not usually found in other restaurants. After we ordered our food, Mr. Kannan (owner of the catering), was prompt in communication and delivered our order on time. The quality and quantity is awesome. As stated in the menu bisibela bath is definitely delicious. Their North Indian dishes are also amazing. Chef’s navaratan korma is one of the best we have tasted. The quantities of their sharbat and rose milk is not something you find in other restaurants. It is packaged in sealed and hygienic cups. All the food that we ordered were fresh.This place is a hidden gem.The owner went above and beyond to help us and get our order ready.Since they prepare food on a day today basis to avoid wastage, they taste fresh and delicious; closest to homemade food in taste, variety and service.
