Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Santa Ana

I stopped by The Habit Burger in Santa Ana around 1 PM and had a mostly good experience. The food was fresh, and the service was friendly. My order came out quickly—even without a lunch rush, the kitchen was on point.

That said, there are a few things to be aware of. There’s no in-person cashier to take your order—everything is done through kiosks, which can get a bit chaotic, especially for first-time visitors or anyone not comfortable with self-ordering. It wasn’t busy during my visit, so it was manageable, but I can imagine it getting confusing during peak hours.

The dining area could’ve used a quick wipe-down—tables weren’t dirty, but they definitely needed some attention, and there didn’t seem to be anyone assigned to clean up during my visit.

Also, be warned: parking can be a challenge. The restaurant is in a very busy shopping center, and the lot has no trees or shade, so your car will be baking in the sun if you’re there during the day.

I went to your location in Santa Ana on Bristol St. on August 30th at 7:30 PM. I ordered a double charburger with cheese and two ice cream cones. When my daughter went to the counter to pick up her double charburger and asked for a ranch , she came back to my table, and she said that they were charging .50 cents. I went to the counter. I spoke to a manager her name was Esmeralda, and I informed the manager that we had never paid for ranch. And she told me that it was 50 cents.I told her That's if she's gonna charge a few cents for ranch cause I'm paying over $10.00 dollars for a double charburger with cheese. I asked her if she's going to charge me .50 cents that I didn't want to do business with Habit Burger and very rudely without saying a word. She opened the cash register and proceeded to give me my money back. I can assure you that I will be deleting the app. I will be telling my daughter's, wife and friend's along with any social media platforms about this...

Stopped by after a good gym workout since I was craving a burger and remembered they offer lettuce wrapper burgers.

I ordered two teriyaki char's with cheese and an order of sweet potato fries.

The burgers were assembled neatly, lettuce was crisp and overall good, but it had way too much mayo. Which I'll ask for no mayo next time since it took away from the teriyaki flavor.

The fries were good and well done, but the portion is kind of small considering the price.

I am docking off a star because of the wait time. I wasn't expecting to wait 20 minutes for a drive thru order. The dining room didn't appear to be busy there was only one car in front of me.

I'll return and update my review if the wait is shorter next time. Otherwise, be ready...
