McDonald's — Restaurant in Santa Ana

My app purchases show how I spend easily $75 a month at McDonald alone. That’s roughly $2.50 a day. I state this so that my review is more true than false. I’m a FREQUENT customer. I feel as if it’s inconvenient for me to be in the store several times a week. I actually started timing the time is takes to be helped up front. Roughly 3min if anyone cares to know … doesn’t sound like a lot but how come taking my money takes seconds on the terminal device but to ask for anything from utensils to sauce packs is so hard to get and to do. Time after time I stand there and I’m sorry but I feel like a complete fool. I’m there with an empty cup wanting to return to my table and i have management watching me from the back. I can see them clear as day seeing me and not even a shout out or “we will be there soon”. No, just chatting about what I’d hope is work but most likely not if no one ever improves the customer service. I’m sooooo tired of not having anyone be up front to assist. Don’t have to have them standing there the whole time but to take what’s closer to 5min then 1min is so annoying. Place is like any mcdonalds. Courteous staff and well your regular mcdonalds food. What i have to say about this mcdonalds is that i have been to plenty and maybe not for the healthy food but because of their playgrounds. It really helps when my family and i are on trips. I have seen that in many better areas the mcdonals playgrounds are much nicer and bigger. This playground is like if it was cut in 4ths its sad to see that only 1/4 was left here where kids are crammed in the lil space. Please take note ( McDonald's) that your patrons rich or poor but lets be honest.... mostly poor come to spend their money in your restaurants, buy happy meals and hope to just unwind and know that our kids play in a safe space ( not confined). It is unfortunate to see that in upscale areas the playgrounds are for the most part empty, please understand that i do not ask for the upscale places to get less and we get poor deserve more by any means this is my message however i do ask of you to please give us some equal treatment. I hate to post a bad review especially to McDonald’s, and especially since I really appreciate all the support McDonald’s gives to families and children but they really need to clean up this play house area. It’s gross. There was enough personal hanging out gossiping to be able to accomplish that. The dirty areas have not been cleaned for some time it is very noticeable. I think when the tables are cleaned they should use a liquid to wipe them down, not just wipe off the left over crumbs. It smears it on the table. But anyhow I hate to leave a negative review and this being actually my first I really hate for it to happen to McDonald’s cause outside of this they are awesome 👏. 6/4/23 back here actually I come often and most times it is clean but they are days that the tables are filthy floor is full of trash.
