It's NOT TEEE-SHIIRTT Time! It is time to SUIT UP! You wouldn't understand its a Cali thing. You can tell I'm getting a little tired of Jersey Fever. Thank you South Park doing a spoof. This is a special themed event meaning its time to dress to impress. After another boring Tuesday at work, it was time for my first time at Proof. Yes, I popped my cherry. Sitting in traffic on the 5 was not fun, but I was very excited to meet so new people. Parking was surprisingly easy to find and it was only 3 dollars. Grr hate paying for parking, but this is not Irvine. Proof Bar did live up to the reviews. Music was fair, but the atmosphere was social. I did not know what to except, but I was able to meet friends that share similar interests. I felt like a Noob. I did not get any awkward stares from ladies thinking "What do YOU WANT? You don't know me? Psssh EEwww!" I did not get looks from guys "Who is this dude? Are you hitting on my Girl?". This was way way way more relaxed. Everyone was easy to approach and friendly. I got to try Tacos catered by Sho Ho! MMMmm Free Donuts and Cupcakes! Free drinks! Score! My only regret is I did not get a chance to get the contact information of all the cool people I meet. Also, I should have mingled more with people. I think I spent a little too much time getting food and drinks. BOO it was a Tuesday! So, I could not fully...
Read moreUpset that this place refused to let someone in because they presented a consular ID. Just want to remind the owners/employers that you absolutely have the right to refuse service to anyone, however, a consular ID is a VALID form of identification issued by a government entity. If our U.S. Department of State recognizes it as valid form of identification, so can a BASIC bar in Santa Ana. Racist much?!
UPDATED: You're an owner? With that response? I feel bad for your employees. They work for someone who is clearly ignorant. A consular ID clearly states a person's birthdate which is what you need to determine someone's age for the consumption of alcohol. Were you too lazy to do the math? Seems like it. The website for the DEPARTMENT OF STATE recognizes that a consular ID is a valid ID. I am as familiar as anyone can get with pertinent laws around consular IDs. I'm an immigration attorney. Thank you for providing the link to a webpage that doesn't even exist. Nice try with your flawed logic and arguments. It's not libel when it's...
Read moreCompletely disrespectful of their neighbors with events going until far too late. Theyâve taken their club outdoors in a crowded alley in an area that is surrounded by residences with no regard for the impact theyâre having on the quality of life of the people (and distressed pets that donât understand what is going on) that actually live in the area where they only work. Our windows rattle, things fall off the wall, and the bass cuts through headphones and earplugs. We canât enjoy our own homes because of them. Multiple attempts have been made to contact them and even the police have been unhelpful so far, in dealing with the situation. Many of us who live in the area are at our wits end and are moving to escalate the matter with higher authorities.
This business does not deserve your patronage and the service they provide is not a high quality experience anyway. Please find a better, more respectful, and safer...
