Subway — Restaurant in Santa Ana

As a nurse I’m so upset with the lady Maria who made my sandwich just so rude I placed a order online for the flat bread and online it doesn’t give me an option to toast it like how it lets me do it for every other bread as shown in the pictures I provided below! I left in the notes “can you please toast it”. I seen she was not going to toast the sandwich so I politely asked her can you please toast it. She gave the rudest attitude and said “you should have put it online now I have to take off the lettuce and cucumbers” and she threw the toppings off with an attitude. I told her online it doesn’t give me that option I’m sorry and “she said we pay extra to toast it so you need to figure it out to put toasted online” I even showed her it didn’t work and she still had a attitude then she throws my sandwich in the toaster for like 5 seconds it wasn’t even fully toasted. I’m so upset with the service I received I don’t mind paying extra for it being toasted it’s just the fact how she acted when the app didn’t even allow me to do so. Was in the area, stoped over to have subway since I hadn’t have it for awhile. A heavy set lady with blue hair and glasses with tons of attitude helped me! She was very sloppy they way she fixed the sandwich and wrapped it up. I don’t understand, why her or others like her just quite and look for another job if they don’t like what they do? She probably wants to be a manager or a business owner, so she should just go for that and let someone who really needs the job and money takes over. It gets busy at times and there will be long lines since the shop is pretty small. It's best to NOT go when it's the lunch rush. It's a good place and it's quiet to stay there and eat. Arriving when it's busy is not a good idea if all you want to order is one sandwich. Don't expect great customer service when giving bad attitude to the employees. Yes, it may be their job regardless but it makes you look like a complete jerk. (speaking from an incident I saw during my visit). Love the place, great service.
