I recently visited Jack's Famous Bagels and had a mixed experience. While I enjoyed the delicious bagels and found the staff to be friendly, there were a few notable drawbacks that affected my overall satisfaction.
Let's start with the positives. The bagels at Jack's Famous Bagels are undeniably yummy. They are fresh, flavorful, and have a satisfying texture. Whether you prefer classic options like plain or everything, or more adventurous flavors, the variety available will surely please your taste buds. Additionally, the workers were polite and accommodating, which added to the pleasant atmosphere.
However, I encountered some issues during my visit. The most significant problem was their lack of responsiveness to phone orders. Despite attempting to place an order over the phone, my calls went unanswered, making it difficult and inconvenient to place an order in advance. This lack of accessibility can be frustrating for customers who prefer the convenience of phone orders, especially when compared to establishments that prioritize this method of ordering.
Moreover, I was disappointed to learn that Jack's Famous Bagels does not offer online ordering. In today's fast-paced world, online ordering has become a popular and convenient option for many customers. It would be beneficial if the establishment embraced this technology, as it would make ordering more accessible and streamlined for their patrons.
During my recent visit, I had the opportunity to try their matcha, and unfortunately, it was a letdown. The matcha was recently added to their menu, but it seems that the staff hasn't mastered the art of preparing it properly. The taste and consistency were not up to par, which was disappointing for someone who enjoys a good...
Read moreI've been here for breakfast many times! And I always get the same thing and it comes out so good every time very consistent. Personally the first thing I notice walking into a restaurant is the appearance of the place, and when I first walk in it's clean, smells good and the ladies behind the counter are smiling and laughing, such a good atmosphere! Secondly I notice the service. Like I said the ladies are smiling and laughing but also give off a professional and clean appearance which I love very kind staff. Third I notice the food! The salmon bagel is my all time favorite and is my to go to, sometimes I switch up on what type of bagel, anyone I get it's always so good! The orange juice taste very fresh as if I were at the farmers market downtown verrryyyyy good and always so refreshing. The coffee is always on point and so many choices to choose from! I always get the French roast. Lastly the Parfait, the strawberries and bananas are fresh and the taste is amazing! The only thing about the parfait is the granola in it is not crunchy. Probably from being in the container and the fridge. But nothing major enough to take away a star it's still a very good sweet Parfait that I really enjoy. I would highly recommend this place such a nice place to sit and start the morning....
Read moreWe came to get some breakfast. It was easy to find the restaurant and park right outside it.
The place has a terrace with tables and umbrellas, the orders are made inside. Inside the interior is a bit outdated, but it was lovely and nicely decorated for Christmas. The place has a decent toilet.
There were plenty of customers, also many workers, so the queue was moving fast. The selection of food was large. We ordered two breakfast bagels (one with egg and sausage another -Greek style with egg, spinach and feta cheese) and a tea. We paid 20+ usd.
We first had to go to another counter and wait for our tea, then we went outside, sat at a table and waited for bagels. They arrived in 5-10 minutes - the waiter calls you by name.
The bagels were tasty, I really liked the one with feta cheese. The bagels were wrapped in plenty of foil and packed in a paper bag: I’m not sure it was needed - we were not planning to eat on the go.
Overall a nice and cozy place, pleasant time and good...
