The beach have a great view of the ocean, palm tree lined and the pier. An Art & Craft Show was running at the time. Vendors were very nice. Is a great place to walking on the sand and having a relaxing time with sound of the waves, just be careful not to walk over the green algaes, your foot will end up with a slime and black substance that's hard to go away. You will need water to apply on it (not Ocean Water). I'll visiting back again in the future.

Amateur Radio Club on Field Day communicating to people around the world using just a ham radio frequency spectrum for the purposes of non-commercial exchange of messages. Emergency communications by licensed radio operators. The event was a test over a 24-hour period, recorded and documented for a contest of how many contacts a radio operator can make. Some highly experienced radio operators only used CW or Morse Code during the event.

This park and recreation area is right along Cabrillo Blvd in Santa Barbara which is right along the boardwalk and offers the most stunning views of the ocean. This area of Santa Barbara is a wonderful relaxing atmosphere and a pleasure to visit any season whether blue skied or a bit overcast. I wish I had taken better pics that reflect the area...I'll try to add better ones a bit later hopefully.

No Parking. Also: must be government run, and apparently the City of SB has more money than it knows what to do with...? They are paying the carousel employees far more than the revenue coming in. How I know: it's raining outside, NO ONE's anywhere near the park, and the carousel is still open. 0 riders + 0 demand + 0 sales, and yet there are 3 employees working...what the?!? What kinda hotel is this?! So I call to ask the pregnant question: Since sales are NEGATIVE—like a business at least attempting/pretending to make a profit—are they offering any sort of "rainy day" promotion? Because we're willing to spend double for 2 kids if they'll let them go around a couple extra times. "Absolutely no discounts," says one of the bratty undergrads standing there goofing off at the register. So you expect me to get my kids out of their car seats and walk the distance here in the rain for a 2 minute cheap thrill? I ask him. Yep, he replies with a smug grin. So we left and instead of paying for his hourly wage, the carousel gets deeper in the hole. Is it privately owned and/or...

I've always loved this place. As a kid the playgrounds were the best and theres so much space to run aroun. As an adult I find myself there for evening walks playing Ingress as I mosy on through. Its just as beautiful as ever. I really enjoy this park. I'll add that ive never used the restrooms here in my life, so i cant speak to their maintenance, i just know they exist. Avoid this park after hours, some of the homeless population that stays there get angry if you walk by and...

I really love this park but the bathroom soap I'm allergic to so I won't go in there. Also it's dangerous I found a knife in one of the structures that kids are supposed to play! Hopefully you don't mind a few drug addicts here and there but they're usually harmless just stay away from their space because they're doing what they need to do in order to survive. Please don't call them homeless they're just bathroom was houseless and mental health Care! And most...
