There is 3 double sided kiosks inside from which you may order your food. Using them is recommended, not only personally, but there is a sign at the register that requests that you order on the kiosk. Nevermind that you have to go to the counter anyways to pay if you are using cash. If you try to use the counter to order, expect at least some wait time for you to be noticed and helped. The workers rely on customers using the kiosk and assume most will, so flag them down or make it known you need assistance if you take the counter option. I wouldn't blame the workers for this, it seems it would be the stringent, borderline unstable control the management seems to need for their restaurant. Last time I got food. I had three drinks and a bag but unfortunately just 2 hands to deal with them. So I asked for a drink carrier, you know, like a degenerate. The manager? Assistant manager? Let's just say grumpy man with an authoritative blue shirt frowned at me and asked if I had ordered one while dismissively placing one in front of me without even looking at me after the initial frowning, despite my pleases and thank yous. They also have two very welcoming, community minded signs posted in the restaurant. One states that refills are limited to ONCE. No more, don't want to hear it, and you better be a Dine-In customer. No refills for take out! Better take that beggar attitude out with you, bub! The other pleasant and oh so welcoming sign/note posted says that you should limit your visit to 20 minutes. Sit, eat, and get the heck out after 20 minutes! We don't need your slow eating, food enjoying, loitering, sketchy types in our restaurant! Your taking precious seating that another customer could use! Despite there being seemingly more seating inside than parking outside, also I've never seen the parking lot full. Let alone the seats inside even get close to half full. That and most orders are delivery drivers picking up or cars getting their orders taken to their cars out front. This also stupefies because I don't think I have ever even gotten my food to begin to sit down in less than 20 minutes! The signs inside just seem exclusionary and mean spirited, based upon community distrust and a skewed sense of inflated self worth or ego by the owner or management. The workers seem to work hard and don't seem snotty or dismissive, but the other day it took about 20 minutes to get 2 large fries, 2 small fries, a soda cup, and 2 large frappes. The most recent trip was about 25 to 30 minutes for 2 breakfast sandwiches, 2 hash browns, and 2 iced coffee. Speed really doesn't seem to be their strong suit, despite no one having to take orders because of the kiosk and no drive thru. Just between you and me, I have walked back in while eating in the parking lot and gotten refills, despite my small minded choice of a Take-Out order. Did you know fast food restaurants make a huge profit off of sodas? They pay basically pennies for a serving because they buy syrup in bulk, and they use the cups as their count towards inventory, which is why almost all of them offer free refills with no problem. I can't say for you, dear reader, but to me, that puts their "only one" and "no" refills sign in a new, very petty, very obnoxious, and quite greedy light. Oh and as a final note, expect to pay much more than like $10 per a person for paltry amounts of food. McDonald's prices have skyrocketed of late, and their mediocre, overpriced food has now taken an air of insult and mocking to the lower class, almost like they are trying price them out and be the special go-to of the upper crusts of society. Where they got the idea that the food there has the quality to meet this price, I don't think even franchise owners or shareholders...
Read moreI came to this restaurant for the first time here a few days ago, it was about 6 in the morning so obviously we got breakfast. We order two breakfast deluxe. The reason I am giving it a one star is not because it was dirty because it wasn't or restrooms dirty because they weren't but our reason us because there were too many homeless people. Now, don't get me wrong but, they either asked for cash which I didn't have, once I said I didn't have cash to one guy, they he decided to ask for my hashbrown. I decided to give it to him so he wouldn't bother us anymore. But we saw that he kept on asking for more and more food to other people and they kind of did the same as we did, once he couldn't get anymore from other people he came back and asked us for our pancakes!! My bf gave him one, he gobbled it as if he hadn't been eating (we saw other people gave him food) we couldn't really enjoy our meal without people coming and either ask us for money or food. We saw other people buying food for the homeless. Thing is I am very sorry for whatever happened to them, but they keep on asking numeral times and that's is not ok. Employees or owner need to do something about this. It's really hard to enjoy your meal in this restaurant. I haven't gone back anymore, I don't...
Read moreI generally do not give a bad review. But this a missed opportunity to correct things. I ordered food and sat down against a wall and had my table number in view not hiding it at all. When I came in there were maybe 15 people in the place. Thirty-five minutes later I sat listening to music before I went to check on my order assuming they got busy sitting on the counter. I got fresh fries but that was it. I am not one to complain but this was a failure having worked in the restaurant industr before this could have been corrected and I would not know if things took longer. I saw the girl circle part of the restaurant multiple times and hand others food. I was not hiding or trying to make it difficult for them because I do know what it is like but things should have been corrected without me asking. 35 minutes is unacceptable unless the place is slammed I would have been understanding. But sitting their getting cold and no follow up. To look again for the number. I saw nothing blocking from seeing the number. I hope there is a training after this to...
