After the Thomas Fire and mudslides Pastor Tommy asked who wanted to go be the hands and feet of Jesus by being available to volunteer to help folks affected most by checking in on them to see if they need the basic essentials food water etc. Also to help clean up which was a huge project and of course offer prayers. They also do the Harvest Fest for Family fun and safe with lots of activities face painting and games and kids jumpers. Tremendous Blessing to our Community. My husband and I attended Calvary Chapel from 2013-2015 while pastor Guzik was there full time. What a comfortable, worshipful, welcoming and Christ-exalting body of believers!! Great kids’ ministry too. Comments about misuse of funds are unfounded. There’s nothing unscriptural about women being involved in worship leading. No gender reference is made when Paul exhorted believers to sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs together—- he just wanted the people to WORSHIP. I’m always saddened when people get stuck in issues that prevent them from having good fellowship...
