This was my third and last time coming here. I really wanted to like this restaurant and am giving two stars for friendly service and great portion size and guacamole. I ordered the chilli relleno, and it's just flavorless. You get a two stacked on top of the other, so the bottom one has no sauce or cheese on top of it, and is essentially naked and soggy and has little flavor. I tried drowning them in salsas from the salsa bar, and even the "fire" habenero salsa wasn't very hot. But the last straw was when I noticed pieces of pork in the beans. If someone orders a vegetarian chilli relleno, obviously they don't want any meat! So I couldn't even roll up the rice and beans and guac into a little burrito with the provided tortilla like I usually enjoy doing.
Also, the TV was on full volume, even for commercials, which was unpleasant to have to listen to. I didn't want to complain about any of this, but I won't be returning for...
Read moreFirst the chicken in the taco was very dry..like chewing on leather..it must of been sitting pre-cooked for several hours.
Secondly, the lady cashier was very pushy, rude and not very happy there..she acted like she was entitled to be rude...
Overall, all the Super Cucas experience are the same with dry overcooked foods I'd and cashier service with a bad attitude.
Lastly, if you want an dining experience with dry cleaning ver clean Ike's Mexican food food and angry attitude as a service come here.. otherwise leave this place alone , as there are too many good Mexican restaurants in Santa Barbara.
Morels ver, this review is based on an ver 28 dining experience here and it's always consistently aweful from the food to the angry entitled attitude.
Please don't dine here unless you want awful dry Mexican food with angry service with...
Read moreGreat place to grab some nachos, a torta, or one of their delicious burritos. They have several different food options on the menu, including a kid's menu and vegetarian plates. We normally get their nachos, which are huge and you definitely need to share with others in order to finish. Their "super" nachos include cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, guacamole, beans, and your choice of meat. I also recommend their torta milanesa and their super taco...which comes with so much meat and beans that you can't even see the tortillas! All of their food tastes even better when you add their salsa habanera, if you enjoy spicy stuff. There is also several drinking options ranging from fountain drinks, horchata, bottled/canned soda, energy drinks, Gatorade, and beer. Definitely a place to try if you are...
