My 26 yr. old son comes here OFTEN and they always give him a hard time. Today was the last straw. This is what he told me that happened today, Saturday, June 14, 2025.
I went in and was waiting for my food past 11 minutes. Then one of the on shift mangers, I believe her name is Veronica, asked if everything was good. I told her I was waiting for my food and showed my receipt. She said we don’t have that order and said someone already took it, while giving me a nasty stare. I told her, “I don’t have it”, and she said well I don’t know….Then stared at me for 15 seconds in silence. Then she rolled her eyes and asked one of her employees, and they had put it in a different spot on accident. No apology from her and I felt discrimination thinking I’m homeless or something. She still didn’t say sorry and it was obvious she that I was there just to try and take someone’s food or something, even though I showed a receipt. I felt extremely discriminated against.
This is not the first time and not just from Veronica. My son looks homeless because he has long hair but he is actually a United States Marine. This is an example of not to judge a book by its cover Taco Bell. Especially since he eats there literally 4-5 times a week(no joke). Shame on you for mistreating people just because of their looks. Your staff, especially Management needs to take a diversity/inclusion class so they will stop discriminating against people that don’t meet their criteria. We will be contacting an attorney to learn if we have a discrimination case against you because this is not the first time it’s happened to him. He pays for his food every time and has his receipts and you keep treating him like he is trash. Learn to APOLOGIZE Veronica. Maybe the Judge can teach you how to apologize and treat EVERYONE with respect, dignity, and compassion. We will get Corporate’s information so we can file a complaint against this franchise(if it is)...
Read moreI think that the bad reviews of this location reflect the entitlement of a lot of people that most food service workers in SB have to experience on a daily basis. I absolutely love everyone that works here and they’ve never been anything but kind. Sure, they can have a wait sometimes, but honestly pretty rarely, it’s literally the only Taco Bell in SB unless you want to drive 10-15 minutes to the mesa location (which is more expensive anyways). I work in service and if you treat the people here with decency (which I know can be hard for some people) you’ll get it in return. I literally never write reviews lol but as someone that’s been coming here for years I can’t say enough nice things about these employees and how hard they work at minimum wage AND no tips, tip them anyways obviously even if they say no! Be kind and get kind. They rock. They won’t mess up your order through the kiosk or if you order online and if they do tell them but be NICE! They don’t get paid enough to deal with ur bs. Lots of appreciation for the oldest TB location in CA!...
Read moreCame here late in the evening but well before closing, ordered, everything was going well. The ordering screen was convenient and let us take our time in perusing the menu and selecting items. However, difficulties began when our order came out. We picked up our food and went to sit at a table. One of the employees followed us as we sat down and inexplicably pointed towards the door. She told us we needed to leave... it was definitely at least an hour before closing. She said to go, and didn't explain why when asked. We were shocked and confused, so we left with our food. As we left, we realized that they had missed items in our order. Honestly, it was such a rude experience that we didn't feel welcome to go back and correct our order. I still have no idea why we were kicked out. We were quiet, it was before closing... Overall, an incredibly unpleasant experience and extremely...
