If you are thinking of visiting Santa Barbara, this is the place to stay. Not only was it the most conveninet location just a few blocks from State street, but also the most economical with all of the services of a higher end hotel.
We stayed in a studio which was plenty of space for us with a kitchenette fully equipped with a great espresso maker and microwave, utencils wine opener, plates, glasses - you name it, it had it and all in tip top shape,
The bed is super soft and cozy with a great comforter and amazing pillows - we slept like babies. The surrounding area is also super quiet so really you could hear a pin drop!
The bathroom was wonderful with a full vanity stocked with sleep masks, makeup remover pads (and special black washcloth - great move!), slippers, big white, fluffy towels as well as bamboo toothbrushes and a high end hair dryer. Everything is brand new and the rain shower head and marble shower with, of course, top end shampoo, conditioner and body wash made my day.
There is a little desk by the bed if you need to login and also a nice size closet with luggage rack, iron, etc.
Now the best part - the price! We paid literally $112 a night for 3 nights and it included a parking space and even had 6 EV chargers for guests - all at no extra charge. If you know anything about Santa Barbara, the hotels and even motels are normally all north of $350 and charge you for everything!
I also loved the self service - I got all the updates on my phone via text along with keyless entry and my own person wifi too. I really can't say enough things about it other than when we are back, we will be staying...
Read moreMy review is for Casa Jardin - Unit 8 specifically, but I'm sure it could be just as relevant for all of the rentals as a whole!
This private rental is located just a short walk from State St in beautiful Downtown Santa Barbara. The apartment is tastefully decorated in a minimalistic style, with a focus on comfort and convenience. The apartment features a Nespresso machine, a mini fridge, a king-size bed, and private parking, all of which make for a super comfortable stay.
One of the standout features of this rental is its location. The apartment is situated in an epic location, just a short walk from some of the best restaurants, bars, and shopping in Santa Barbara. (I'd recommend the Good Lion for a cocktkail!) The area is also very safe and peaceful, which makes for a great retreat after a day of exploring.
Another notable aspect of this rental is the attentive customer service provided by the staff. During my stay, I had an issue that needed to be addressed, and the staff was prompt and effective in their communication. They had the issue fixed within an hour, which was impressive and greatly appreciated.
Overall, I would highly recommend Casa Jardin - Unit 8 to anyone looking for a private rental in Santa Barbara. The location, amenities, and customer service make for a super nice stay, and the minimalistic design adds to the overall sense of relaxation and...
Read moreAs someone who comes and goes out of Santa Barbara a lot, I was thrilled to find Casa Jardin and declare it a terrific option for visitors who want a quiet, pretty, convienient, self-service option in the heart of town. It stands out as a terrific value in a sea of often very pricey hotels and overpriced motels.. The owners have done a great renovation of a little apartment block and the units are fresh and clean and new and attractively stocked with pretty appliances and dishware, a good stock of coffee and tea, nice bath products and really everything you could need for a comfortable and easy stay. My unit had a washer and dryer which was terrific - tho I don't think they all do. And there were extra bath products provided like toothbrushes in case someone forgot one. One note about Unit 4 in particular - it's nice and light b/c it's on the corner of the building and has great windows and light - however it also faces out on the parking lot, so you don't have much privacy and I felt the need to keep the shades down. And you can hear people coming and going at night. That said, everyone was quiet and respectful so it was not a big deal but good to be aware of. And for any coffee lovers - head a couple blocks around the corner to Handlebar Coffee - my favorite. Anyway- honestly think this place is one of a kind and will be...
