Cake Expressions — Restaurant in Santa Clara

We had Cake Expressions do our wedding cake & desserts, and we are SO pleased with how everything looked and tasted!! As expected, cake/dessert tasting was one of the highlights of the wedding planning process — we had a fantastic experience meeting with Cero for the tasting and discussing what we wanted for our wedding reception. The team at Cake Expressions made planning super easy (even with a COVID postponement for a year later); they’re professional, responsive, organized, and friendly. The hardest part was making a decision about which desserts to have, because they are all so delicious!! We ended up choosing a two-tiered cake (and then ah! The flavors are hard to pick from too..! We went with 1 tier of burnt almond and 1 tier of carrot cake), as well as mini-cupcakes, brownies, and lemon bars. The desserts flew off the table, and we received numerous compliments from our guests about how good they were. We’re still drooling over our wedding desserts, and can’t wait for the next opportunity to celebrate with a cake so that we can go back to Cake...

We ordered our wedding cake from Cake Expressions and even though we were quite late to it (2-3 weeks out) we were still accommodated, which resolved a lot of stress. They provided helpful recommendations on size and flavour options and we went with a red velvet (being our favourite). Haley, their cake consultant was quick to respond and a pleasure to work with.

On the day of the wedding party, cake arrived on time and it looked absolutely perfect. They also helped decorate it with the flowers we gave them. It was moist and delectable, and everyone told us how amazing the cake was.

They are also priced quite reasonably compared to all other vendors who will upcharge just hearing 'wedding' and we really appreciated this, as we had a small wedding on a budget.

We can't wait to go back and would recommend it...

Amazing small family owned cake shop located in Santa Clara. I love places that are honest and fair priced. That is exactly what you get when you come here. I came in to inquire about my wedding cake and the man was very soft spoken and polite. I got to take a plate of samples home to try with my fiancé. It was so hard to choose because all of them were delectable. I went with the marbled cake, and a Strawberry cake. No regrets what so ever. I paid my bill in full that same day because their prices are super reasonable for quality and size. I left so please and content with my order I received a couple of calls updating me and asking if there were any changes. I love this place! Will definitely become a regular client.
