My husband and I have been Executive Costco members For many years now. This store offers so many great deals, top quality products and customer service, and an awesome food court!!! I can't think of anything I have ever bought at Costco (grocery or product) that has been disappointing. We buy our groceries, household items including furniture, gift cards, shoes, clothing, under clothing, electronics, we get pics developed (best quality I have ever had my pictures print out!) dog treats, toiletries, every vacation deal or package deal we always go through Costco to book it because we never find a better deal and we've always been more than satisfied with no issues! Not to mention what we save buying in bulk at their prices! We have come to use and rely on it so much that the 2% back we receive For every purchase actually pays for our membership renewal each year plus an excess amount of at least $150 that we get as a cash card toward our next purchase or money! Now that I've said my peace about it, I'll get to my review, which is focused on the food court. They have a select and consistent item menu and I've tried everything on it. Our favorite is the hot dog (which is enormous and is $1.50 with a drink!) and their turkey provolone sandwich which is packed with sliced turkey and melted provolone cheese, tomato, and onions on a ciabatta bun foe $3.99 (delicious!) The hot dog is huge, thick, juicy, flavorful and probably the best hot dog I have ever had! The sandwich is always warm with a soft but lightly toasted ciabatta bun and the meat is always tender and juicy with the tomato and onions giving it that simple but great added flavor! The fountain drinks, which go for 69 cents if you buy independently, are Coke products and free refills! If anyone can tell me where you can get a fountain drink with free refills for 69 cents, I'm all ears! It just doesn't exist anymore! Finally, the Very Berry sundae! Yogurt that is creamy vanilla with a gelatto like texture, topped with strawberries and strawberry sauce! It reminds me of a gelatto short cake (if that makes any sense!) I had one and now every time we go, I have the hardest time leaving without one because I know what I'm missing and it's tragic! The sundae runs $2.99 I believe!!! Hurry, go now, and GET A MEMBERSHIP!!! First time or new customers, especially singles, who are not going for a lot of bulk items can get a Premier membership for $60 ...
Read moreI went there today at Sunnyvale Costco. At first I was at San Jose Costco but I was informed by the manager that there are at least 3 more supply in Sunnyvale Costco for the necklace I really like. So I went to Sunnyvale Costco. When I was there I pick up some other items, a watch for male and the Pearl necklace that I really wanted. For the watches, according to the information on the wall no more WOMEN'S WATCH but plenty of MEN'S WATCH. So I took a card for men's watch. After paying for my items (men's watch and Pearl strand necklace), went to pick up both items. Guess what??? they don't have any of the items I just paid for. Instead of apologizing one who claims he is Manager (RC) yell at me and turn out he is NOT the Manager at all. I told him I came from San Jose Costco and was informed that Sunnyvale Costco has 3 more Pearl necklace and of course RC didn't care about that!. Mary came because I asked for a REAL Manager. I was frustrated after finding out no Pearl necklace and no watch, and to top it all, RC was yelling. Driving to Sunnyvale Costco was a waste of time, gas and money. While I was venting my frustrations to myself then Brenda (supervisor) thought I was yelling at her. How stupid is that? She didn't even ask what is wrong. Brenda started accusing that I was yelling at her, how stupid is that!!! To be with a customer that is already frustrated Brenda should have said NOTHING at all, or ask if everything was alright, but she retaliated to a customer who's already FRUSTRATED. Brenda get an education on how to proceed and irrate customer. Do not assume anything. Do you know what assume means. You should just left the customer alone and let her vent. But stupid Brenda started to argue back to the already irritated customer, so things got really frustrated. Costco employee should learn how to approach customer who are already frustrated. They should educate their employees regarding irritated customer. I don't how Brenda and RC got promoted to higher level of supervisor and manager if BOTH do NOT know how to handle an irritated customer. Both should be Decrease back to just another worker, no promotion should be given to BOTH Brenda and RC. At end due to the frustrations from Sunnyvale Costco employees (Brenda and RC) I wanted my money back. Sunnyvale Costco just lost a business from a good spending customer Because of their STUPID customer service from both Brenda and RC. You both do not...
Read moreDear Costco Customer Service,
Yesterday 06-2-2025 around 7 pm,I drove to the Costco in Santa Clara to purchase groceries. While I was driving slowly and straight ahead at a normal speed, a female employee of the store was pushing a large number of shopping carts out through the exit and hit the rear-right side of my car.
She did not stop or acknowledge the incident and simply walked away, leaving the carts unattended. I stopped my car and tried to get her attention to take a photo for evidence. I did not grab her or act aggressively—I simply held onto the cart briefly to stop her from walking away. She continued to ignore me, and another employee told me to let go and talk to a manager.
After taking photos of the damage to my car, I went to speak with the manager. Shockingly, I was confronted by four to five staff members who aggressively told me to call the police. They also demanded my membership card, insisted that I hand it over so they could take a photo, and informed me that my membership would be canceled.
When I attempted to return to the store to buy water, they told me I was no longer allowed inside, not just at this location, but at any Costco location in the future.
This treatment is completely unreasonable and unjust. I was the victim in this situation—my vehicle was hit by a Costco employee who then left the scene. I was simply trying to obtain evidence. Instead of addressing the issue fairly, the staff responded with hostility and punished me for trying to protect my rights.
I demand that:
Costco headquarters investigate this incident thoroughly; My membership be reinstated immediately; Costco takes responsibility for the damage to my vehicle and provides compensation for the repairs.
I never expected such unprofessional and disrespectful treatment from your staff. Please address this matter urgently and appropriately.
Sincerely My name is Kui Ma The employee hit my car and completely ignored the incident. She quickly changed direction and walked away with the carts, which constitutes a hit-and-run.
What’s even more unacceptable is the way the manager handled the situation—with extreme aggression and no sense of fairness or responsibility.
How can such individuals be allowed to work in a customer-facing service role?
I strongly urge senior Costco management to step in and address this matter seriously and...
