McDonald's — Restaurant in Santa Clara

Do not go here. They park almost everyone in the drive thru, bring out 3 cars worth of food (yes car #1’s food waited and is cold). They say it’s to make your food, but as the only parked car this morning I can attest this isn’t necessarily true. My food was cold, hashbrowns soggy room temperature, cheese dried and coagulated on both breakfast sandwiches and a very cold round egg. Seems that they just don’t care about quality, food safety, or customer service. I may live closest to this location, but I’m going to start traveling further just in hopes that my breakfast is actually hot or even warm.

Normally I wouldn’t review a McDonalds. However after my experience of being yelled at and berated for scanning my rewards QR at the beginning of my transaction, I felt that a review was necessary. The morning manager flipped when I scanned my QR code after she asked how she could help me, for reference I do this at McDonalds across Oregon and California, and she quite literally flipped and told me she is to take my order first, and I am to wait until she tells me to scan my phone. She then proceeded to complain about me (in Spanish) to her employees- “I can’t believe he did that, it was so rude and he has to wait until I say he can scan or else he will get someone else’s points” is the rough translation of what she said. Then her employees told her that she was wrong and I didn’t break any rules. That I had done the same thing everyday for a week straight.

Her attitude changed slightly, but no apology or in anyway acknowledging that she was wrong and shouldn’t have berated and belittled me in front of several customers… She really shouldn’t be a manager… and to think at one point I thought she was a...

Food is great , always is whenever i go. BUT and I cannot stress this enough, the employees are really rude at times and never smiling and always seem like they hate their job. Today i went in for 3 sundaes, caramel and strawberry. I then proceeded to say two caramel with extra caramel and i said that loud and clear to the girl at the register who looked super unhappy and she marked it as a normal sundae. So when i said i requested extra caramel the other ladies tried to tell me i didn't and that is not my error but hers, she rushed and did not listen to what i said and really didn't seem to care about being there. she also was actually rude to the two people in front of me , especially to a pair of older ladies who wanted ice cream cones she just had an attitude and kept giving them stank looks. She had no emotion at all when helping a man and his son right before me as well. When i went up she again like stated above was unhappy and did not seem like she wanted to be there. I tried doing the survey on the website but the ink was so light i couldn't read half the numbers. Anyways i think all the employees there need an orientation on how to be nice to customers and leave your personal issues at the door, because i have worked in the food industry before and you should always have a happy face on regardless of anything going on. I understand people have personal issues but when it comes to business , we are paying customers who would like to be treated nicely when we come to eat at this...

Well, I have a way for all your arguments to be solved. Go to McDonalds! McDonalds is a great place to eat at. When you walk into the restaurant the smell of warm French fries and juicy burgers fill up your nose. I will explain a few reasons why its the best. First, McDonalds has happy meals with toys so if you have little kids it would be a good menu item for them. The net reason why McDonalds is the best fast food place is because there are a bunch of McDonalds around the United States so you don't have to drive an 1 hour for some cold food like you do for other places. Another plus to having more McDonalds places is that there are not very large lines like other places for example, chic fil a. These are some reasons why McDonalds is the best fast food place. Other people also have there own opinions about McDonalds. According to Lucy she says that McDonalds doesn't have good service, one time when her family ordered 2 burgers they only got one so her mom had to make food to replace the missing burger. Another time was when one customer said she last ordered the happy meal and she really liked the design of it and how everything was mini but she didn't like the apples because they weren't fresh, instead the apples were bruised.
