Dear Regional manager I am writing to formally express my disappointment following a recent visit to your restaurant, Toppers Pizza , located at 18417 Soledad canyon , on 06/26/2024. Unfortunately, my experience was unsatisfactory due to several issues that I believe need your immediate attention. Firstly, Jenifer which call herself manager should not work at this location. I came from Dallas Texas to visit my family in California. They were telling how good is this resturant, which I did not wanna come to place to eat pizza neither salad. Due to my family told me is great place for family and kids to eat, I divide to go there and spend our money with you guys which this was our biggest mistake. This was surprising and unacceptable, especially since your restaurant prides itself on great service and freshly made food. Secondly, after we order 4 pizza and wing and bread stick we ordered ourself a salad from salad bar. Employee name Fernando super nice and polite did take our order. After they brought our order we start getting up one by one and get some salad in our bowl. The lady which she call her manager but to me she was just look like dish washer person to me, came up to my brother in law and really rudely told him that he can fill touch his plate while his waiting for other to move forward. To me this is my plate I do whatever I would like to do because I paid for my salad. Without saying please or would u not touch your plate while you standing, she said really rude that go away from salad bar and donot touch plate. I would like to someone to review camera see how long she stood behind my brother in law until he get his sauce on his bowl and come sit down. After fact she started walking around us looking at our table and keep watching us. As my 7 years old son did like the salad ask my wife to please get her more of that salad. As my wife get up and went to get a little more salad for my son “ to me that dishwasher person which she call her manager” Jenifer came really rudely to my wife face and really rude told my wife that she can not fill her salad, my wife told her that wants some for my some, Jenifer said to my wife with bad attitude hand me your plate you can not have it. Not explaining or anything really rude. This is not a way you go to customer and tell them this stuff and a manger of big restaurant. I really feel sorry for this resturant to have manager like that. This was our first time coming to this place and will be our last time for life to coming to such low class resturant like this. Additionally, I want to people knows to not come and spend there money in such low class pizza salad bar place to waist there money. My son and my daughter start crying and we got so made we left resturant without eating our food. I can not stop them to not upset. This is our vacation time we came to CA to spend time and money. I really upset that I did spend $133.64 along with $20 dollars cash tips. I really need to see some action about this situation from higher manger and would like to be contacted to discuss the matter. If I have to take legal action I will do. To not happening to any other person to mess up there vacation time or family time. I will put her picture on this that way if anybody see her to run away from that resturant. She does not know to talk to people. Moreover, when we brought these issues to the attention of the staff, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. It was disappointing to witness a lack of professional customer service, which significantly impacted our dining experience. I am hopeful that this letter serves as constructive feedback and that you will take necessary actions to address these issues to improve the quality of service of customer service. I believe that everyone deserves a good dining experience, especially when they decide to dine out. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I am looking forward to seeing improvements by getting rid of Jenifer and putting a person who deserve. If you zoom in on my picture you see why she took picture me and my family.

Toppers Pizza Place in Canyon Country, CA served absolutely delicious food! I was not aware of this Oxnard based local chain even though they have been around for 20 years! So, this was my first visit to a Toppers and it won’t be my last. From the outside, the building was attractive and clean looking. On the inside, more of the same. Plenty of parking in their lot. The fellow at the counter was very helpful. I told him this was my first visit to a Toppers. He informed me that he would take my order at the counter, pay, and then I’d be given a device to set on my table and my order would be brought out when it was ready. He told me the specials, and gladly answered my questions about their menu items and the various craft beers they had on tap. I ordered their Jalapeño Poppers, a medium sized Hawaiian Heat pizza, and a 22 oz. local craft beer. The Poppers were baked, not fried! They were fresh Jalapeño “boats” filled with a blended cheese mix with dried cranberries, a raspberry chipotle sauce and topped with bacon. They were outstanding! I decided that I wanted some dipping sauce. The counter fellow said I could help myself to their dressings at the salad bar. I chose their bleu cheese and their chipotle ranch. Adding a little bit of those dressings to my Poppers furthered my flavor adventure! With or without the salad dressings, Toppers Poppers are the best I have ever eaten. No contest. When my Hawaiian Heat Pizza was brought to my table, I thought it was a thing of beauty! It was a thin crust pizza with a creamy garlic sauce instead of a red sauce. It was topped with Canadian Bacon, Pineapple, big chunks of Chicken coated with BBQ Sauce, pieces of Bacon, and pickled Jalapeño slices (fresh Jalapeño slices were an option). I told them to hold the Red Onions. Fresh house made daily dough, fresh ingredients, freshly grated cheese, fresh house made sauce truly make a HUGE difference as this pizza was a flavor bomb! Complimenting this tasty meal was that big glass of locally brewed Nuptials Mango Ale from Santa Clarita’s Pocock Brewing Company. I’m not usually a fan of any kind of fruit flavored beer, but the mango flavor was oh so subtle. I’m glad the fellow who took my order recommended this refreshing brew! Enough gushing. I’m now a solid fan of Toppers Pizza Place and am looking forward to my next visit to one of their locations.

I’m hoping this was a one-off experience, because I really wanted to like this place. The cashier was pleasant… and that’s the only positive I experienced. Coke Freestyle—awesome… but disgusting with splashed soda all over their 3 machines as if they were never cleaned. I didn’t order salad, which turned out to be a relief. One glance at their salad bar made me gag. The crocks (the ones that actually had food in them) were splashed with food from neighboring crocks. The splash glass did its job, I guess, protecting the food from someone’s sneeze, but it was left there for people to see. The booth? Sticky like an old IHOP. The restroom? I’ve seen gas stations that were cleaner. Paper towels and toilet paper littered half the floor and graffiti carved above the single men’s urinal. Do these people not care about their facilities? Word of advice: DO NOT order the “Hot Honey” pizza unless you can get it hot. I’m assuming it would’ve tasted good hot, but I watched the tall guy (who’s one job is to deliver the pizzas from the ready counter to the tables) talking to several employees on the floor and over the counter to the kitchen for several minutes before he decided to finally deliver it to our table. I had to douse my pizza in pepper to mask the bad taste. TLDR: Bad first experience. I hope this was an atypical day for a highly rated establishment.

Went for the first time after hearing all these good things about the place and sadly the customer service wasn’t on point . I have worked Customer service from retail to vet offices and was a supervisor at one point so not having the best experience was disappointing. I went in with my family and our kids . Since it was our first time I asked the young girl about the menu. She wasn’t very detailed about how they do things so just got what I think was best for us to order since the kids were being kids and a bit hyper since (since they don’t see each other often ) that I could tell she was getting annoyed by the look on her face and me trying my best to multitask . I didn’t say anything and just went to our seats . So we got the half sandwhich and salad plate and a pizza /salad plate . We sat down got our food and before we leave we decided we wanted to get one more plate of salad . Then a worker comes up to me and tells me it’s only one time serving . I mentioned to her how no one had told me that and she pretty much said I was lying because she saw the other lady come up to us . I told her why would I lie about that and how she can have the plate no one mentioned anything to me. I then told her well my father didn’t get his salad plate so we will at least get his . Then another lady stepped in and said if the plate is empty then sure he can and I said the plate he used we used to feed the baby so your telling me I cant get salad because no one explained that to me ? I then mentioned I understand the policy and I see the manager listening so then I include him in and he tells me about the policy which i understand. The whole point was instead of just saying your right we apologize for any misunderstanding they made it such a big deal. All I wanted was to enjoy some family time . Their bad service made me not want to go back and have to spend our...
