Los Vega Furniture — Local services in Los Angeles

Look, I hate writing bad reviews. So I was hesitant to write this, but I feel like if one person reads this and keeps it in mind, then its warranted.

First of all, there are no prices displayed on anything, as a customer that’s not a good thing to me. It tells me that they charge whatever they want to whoever they want.

Came in with my wife looking for furniture for our new place. Literally had cash on me and was ready to close a deal. Long story short I don’t feel like I was treated kindly. Guy there was smug, and kept trying to pinch more money off of me. My wife really liked the couch and I knew the “deal” the man was giving me wasn’t really a deal, but I was tired and I was honestly over furniture shopping so I was okay with overpaying by $100-$200 as long as we got our living room.

Now, this is why I wrote this review for this incident right here.

My last straw was when before paying he mentioned “We’ll deliver it on your front lawn, give me $45 more and I’ll put it inside”

Dude, we agreed on a deal. I was seconds away from giving you close to $2000 up front, no financing.

You were greedy enough to lose a sale over $45. Make no mistake, this wasn’t about a standard fee. I know how business works, I do business. This was pure greed and ego and sort of a “f you” in other words. I literally looked at him and said “seriously?”

His excuse “I have to pay the guys”.

I walked out.

Heres the kicker. I found the same furniture set, same brand. Same everything, down the street at a different place for $500 cheaper. Think about that.

They also delivered, for free.

They also gave me a brand new set, not the floor model this guy was trying to sell me.

I truly hope this was a one off occurrence and this isn’t how this place usually conducts business, I’m definitely a proponent of shopping at small businesses; but experiences like this, unfortunately,...

I asked him how much for delivery to Long Beach, he said one price and then I asked him how much if it’s delivered In Los Angeles he said another price, I was OK with that because there is a distance from the furniture store. However, when I told them I’ll take delivery to Long Beach. He switched the price and added an extra $25 and then told me no he didn’t say that. I repeated what he said him , that I asked him the price for LA delivery and the price for Long Beach delivery. He continued lie & say he did not say that. So I ended up leaving and not purchasing anything fearing that if I order something and when it’s delivered, it might be something totally different based off behavior...

I definitely don't recommend this place. Here's why -

My mom bought a large sofa set from this place. After it didn't fit, she called and they said they can't accept returns. How ridiculous! Not even a 7-14 day return period? They couldn't have disclosed it was final sale before completing purchase? It was a brand new leather couch! Their excuse was due to covid.. but the couch wasn't used and the material can easily be disinfected! At the very least, I would expect a restocking fee, but nope they did not offer anything.
