Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Santa Fe

The food was good, warm, and typical of Sonic. The problem is that the car hops have lost their fervor and friendliness and Sonic as a whole has become boring. The fun, summer atmosphere has been lost and replaced by complacency and status quo.

My experience was complicated by a car hop that was carrying 2 orders of drinks. My order was 1 small float and the other order appeared to be 2 route 44s. The car hop was in too much of a hurry for a flank approach and chose a frontal course that required her to navigate over my side mirror. She chose to elongate her arm, hurdle the mirror with the cup like Carl Luis, jump the gun, and release the ice cream float before a full grip could be made causing a cup popping disaster. The ice cream float erupted like mount vesuvius as I compressed the cup, threw open my eyes, yelled 'please God save the float!', and wiped the tears from my eyes.

The car hops blankly stared without speaking as I regrouped and politely asked for a napkin. Maybe the eruption was just as traumatizing for her? It is hard to say but 1 more step and a smile could have prevented the demise of a root beer float.

Did I mention she had no napkins and said she would return...but delivered the other drinks to the next car before sending another carhop to my rescue. Not with another float either, just some napkins. i was just left sitting there with both arms and the side of my car covered in...

I think her name was Katrina (not 100% sure) but she is the BEST and most beautiful person ever!!!! Their ice machine can't keep up with such high demand and with me being pregnant and cravings all I really wanted was the ice. Literally was the only reason I went was for a drink for the ice! (But also got their little Cinnabon thingies too cause I dont wanna get just a drink. That's weird.) Well they only had the normal bigger kind of ice cubes. And I started crying after she walked away (thanks hormones) cause I told her I was prego an only really wanted the ice but would still buy my order anyways none the less. And she went way above and beyond and made sure I got a little of the small ice!!! And I started crying again cause it made my whole day! I don't know your name but thank you!!! I ordered a quarter pounder with mayo pickle only had to tell the person taking my order 3 time she even came to the car and wrote it down then get the burger it has mustard ketchup and pickles on it then one girl comes to the car and I tell her she couldn't get it right so they send a 3rd person to the car at that time I asked for a refund for the burger then waited another 10 mins for the refund after I had to get out of the car and ask once again what was going on then they bring me the burger I will never go back to santa fe sonic cause the little girls was laughing at me well if they new how to take an order my order wouldnt have been messed up my tots was cold my both my pretzel was cold by the time I got home just like I said before I will never go to...
