Chicken Express — Restaurant in Santa Fe

I visited this location on Saturday night via drive thur with a family member. we ordered and while pulling around there were two boys sitting down (who were no older then JR high) I asked if they were ok and one replied yes ma’am we are just waiting on a water cup. I get to the window to hear probably high schoolers and the manager laughing and making rude remarks about the boys to which the cook working was telling his coworkers how he would just throw the water at them to make them go away. My family member said she would pay for their choice of drink and gave the girl at the window more money. I had very high hopes for this place and had this review been written a year ago when this place first opened, it would be different. When they first opened, they were packed all the time, their service was great, and food was fresh. Those days are GONE. If you are starving this place will work in a pinch; no wait because no customers are there. Their chicken strips, when fresh, are awesome. Lately, their chicken was barely warm. I have had their cat fish several times and all but once, it was very overcooked. Their biscuits used to taste good but now they taste stale and are tiny. Went to my fav chicken place waiting to get some hot food and all I could see is the guy cooking harassing the nice manger i see all the time. Like he was so rude and obnoxious . Why would anyone employ someone like that. She so nice I come up here every week just to see her it’s not right yall hire employees that won’t listen to ur leaders . I hope to see this situation handled because it was not right and completely unprofessional. As a man I wanted to stand up for her but didn’t want the situation to escalate anymore .
