Food is always very tasty.! The staff is usually attentive and what I mean by that is I like a waiter or waitress that takes the plates off the table when we're done with them instead of letting them pile up. And for the most part this is taken care of. They hire a lot of school students that just haven't been in the restaurant industry very long, but they try hard. If you have never been here give yourself treat, food and prices are fair. There's a place over in Texas City that's similar to this but I promise you this tastes better. They have a special menu that is Priced Right with a lot of options. Also I just posted these two newest pictures of a appetizer/ dinner option that it's called the Boudreaux bread, excellent give it a try.! Enjoy Life and God Bless

The menu is awesome with lots of choices. Very good atmosphere and great service. I had frog legs and grilled quail with mixed vegetables and asparagus. However the frog legs were bland and what i tasted most was the breading. The asparagus was over cooked for my taste. I like mine to have little crunch and not so soft. However a great surprise was the grilled quail. Nicely done. Mixed vegetables were on point. I like the food so the next day i had grilled shrimp with pork chops and mixed vegetables. Everything was delicious. A definite place to try and probably one of the best places to eat locally.

I’ve been to this restaurant many many times before they changed owners. They changed the chef and the food as you can see by the photo I did not finish my dinner at all. The shrimp was too crunchy hard batter had an odd taste to it they did not have the crinkle french fries any longer, and if you don’t pay cash they charge and $.85 up charge on your ticket. I don’t eat catfish fried ever but they had some of the best around with light batter. This time slaw was runny my fried had the fried shrimp poo boy same hard fried shrimp and now a hard toasted bun. We will not be back!

I ordered the grilled pork chops and my wife got the 6 fried shrimp . Per the menu , The pork crops comes with dirty rice and mixed vegetables. The fried shrimp comes with french fries. We decided that all we wanted a baked potato with our entree . When I got my pork crops they were so greasy that I had to sop of all the extra grease with paper napkins. They were also so salty that they were almost uneatable! The shrimp were flavorless. When we got the ticket and after review I noticed that we were given a $4 up charge for the baked potatoes . We were not informed of the up charge when we placed our order. I explained to the manger that fact and also we did not get the rice , mixed vegetables and french fries . Her response was that the server should have informed us of the up charge and that there was nothing she could do . So , sub-standard food , poor service and give a damn attitude by manager and this thus my negative review. I do not recommend this...

My family and I were passing through Santa Fe after a long day of school and baseball practice. We were looking for a good place to eat that wasn’t fast food. I saw this restaurant on my navigation and decided to give it a shot. I did notice that it closed at 9 and we were approaching 8:30. We pulled into the parking lot and it was completely empty, but the open sign was on. We were optimistic. We entered the restaurant and asked if we could still be seated although they were cleaning up and preparing to leave. The woman at the front explained that they did close at 9, but that they would still serve us. Not only was our waitress amazing, but she was very kind and accommodating. The food was fantastic and so was the service. Thank you all so much for allowing us to dine in your restaurant although we know you would have rather gone home. Thank you to the staff as well. We will most...

5 Family Members visited this Quaint Restaurant to see if what we heard about it was true. There were a few patrons already seated and eating. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The waitress was attentive to a point but as more patrons arrived we were addressed less often. When we received our main courses, it was delivered in a staggered timing. 2 of us ordered the Cajun Pasta (see pic of plate) which differed in quality and quantity. My plate tasted primarily of Bell Pepper with very little crawfish, shrimp sauce as compared to the amount of pasta which it covered! Both our dishes were missing the scallops as was stated as an ingredient of the dish. The other person's dish was very spicy and the amount of Sauce was more than mine but still lacking as to the plate full of pasta it was bedded upon. I'm not sure we 2 will be up to a...
