I live very close to this Starbucks and every time I go I regret it. I understand that places get busy and things get behind, but every time this place is busy it's a total nightmare. Its like they don't have things in order, or are just lacking the staff. The longest I have been in a drive thru line there has been 30 min this is not an exaggeration. Then you decide to park and order inside the store, EVEN WORSE. They prioritize mobile orders and drive thru. I have waited for my drink inside that store multiple times for 15+ minutes. Today I gave it one last chance (cause everyone has bad days) and of course 20 minutes go by after I order my only drink and croissant and nothing. You see the workers making so many drinks for mobile pick ups, and let the area get flooded with them and zero attention to the store customers orders. I had to leave and couldn't wait longer, because I had work, so I asked for a refund (obviously in a rush), and didn't realize I instead got charged for an additional drink when I got to my car. I know these are first world problems, and I probably sound crazy to most of you, but stuff like this bothers me so much. They have become a full online and mobile pick up entity and its frustrating. You'll get your food in 3 minutes, have it get cold while you wait for your drink because you WILL wait and wait and wait. Will never come here again. I'd rather go across the street to the Starbucks inside Albertsons and feel like an actual customer. OR do yourself the favor and just get mobile pick up with the un-user-friendly excuse of a menu...
Read moreI was harassed to buy any product from this starbucks. What appeared to be like the eldest staff member in the store approached me twice in a 30-minute span claiming that Starbucks had changed their policy and now all visitors to the store must purchase an item from the store if they are to stay in-store. She claimed some arbitrary number of minutes i was in the store. I’m not from around here. I would have gone to a coffee bean & tea leaf but they don’t have any in the area.
This woman gave me grief at 5 am. Gone are the days where employees do their job, smile, and clean. Now they're the purchase police. So i paid my 5 dollars for the smallest cup of coffee as if Starbucks isn’t over valuing the coffee, as if theyre not making billions in profit, as if theyre not robbing the government of sales tax among other things. I’m never coming here again. How obnoxious. Using a clown green gown to gain positional power and demand someone else’s money is just a mild form cope from someone who’s incompetence is only superseded by their...
Read moreThe Starbucks on South Broadway in front of foodmaxx is great for chilling out for a couple hours. The staff is always nice and welcoming. A few have even taken to remembering my name when I came in which is nice and reminds me of the small coffee shops from college where people made you feel like you were part of something. My heart does darken though over then amount of homeless that come in to use the facilities or charge their phones. I wish more could be down for them. Some are clearly experiencing some mental and hygiene issues. But none are threatening (as opposed to some of my experiences in larger cities). Most just want to charge their phones, use the WiFi and maybe drink some water. God bless them and their struggles. This sb location, has a professional and kind staff who provide fast and...
