SaMo Pizza — Restaurant in Santa Monica

SaMo Pizza. This place provides a great customer service experience. My mom and I walked into the store and as my mother sat down, she started coughing. I am not sure if he is the owner, but he brought my mom a bottle of water without even asking. I thought that was an amazing gesture. Knowing this gentleman looked out for my mom, I was ready to lookout for SaMo pizza.

I ordered a build your own pizza, greek salad, and mozzarella sticks. All of this food came out piping hot and fresh within 12 minutes. The 18" pizza was huge, so next time I will order the next size down. The salad was tasty and included a side of olive oil which is key to a good greek salad. The mozzarella sticks were not my favorite, but nonetheless they were hot and fresh (the breading was not my favorite) and served with a side of ranch instead of a side of marinara. I guess I could have asked for marinara and I am 100 percent sure it would have been provided.

All in all, I would recommend SaMo pizza to anyone looking for some good fresh made pizza in Santa Monica. I should mention, if you are paying by credit card, your statement will say Indo-Asian Foods and not SaMo pizza. I think this is because the folks that own the Indo-Asian market also...

As far as quality the foods good no question my reason for giving lower stars is simple but an understandable one. The pizza and mozzarella sticks were cold and wasn't cut properly. I was given a time of 2:28 to arrive I came at 2:20 to make sure I got pizza as it was done when I arrived, upon arrival pizza had been done for some time I'd assume and I wasn't called or informed to come quicker I placed order around 2 now the pizza being cold wasn't the worse I can obviously warm it up and that's what I did it tasted great no doubt but the mozzarella sticks are more difficult to warm up with no oil fryer u can toss em in oven but it's a hit or miss if they'll come out good they came out alright tasted lemony for some reason again not the worst what bothered me the most was I asked for parm cheese packets from the employ who was kind and he stated there were some already in bag so I leave get home and we'll there were none and no napkins so great pizza but could use some fixing on updating if orders finish early and to actually check if you put items in the bag for customers I tipped even though it was a simple pick up order and now I'm...

Samo Pizza absolutely blew me away! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming, the smell of fresh dough in the air, and the service? Next level.

Victor was very, very, VERY helpful — the kind of person who truly cares that you have a great experience. Whether it was helping us decide what to order or checking in with genuine hospitality, he made the visit feel personal.

Now let’s talk about the pizza… hands down some of the best I’ve had. Perfectly cooked, rich flavors, and just the right balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings. You can tell they care about quality. Every bite had that “I need another slice” kind of magic.

On top of all that — the prices were totally fair. Great food at a good price? Can’t beat it.
