Dont go here it had the WORST customer service and food i ever had at Denny's. I would give no stars if i could.Walked in with my husband and grandson. Host/waiter sat us at a table that had crumbs. When I mentioned the crumbs he said he would clean it. I should have went with my gut feeling and left, but we sat down and waited for someone to take our order. I had to find a child chair becuz no one offered it and brought it to our table . Dennys was not crowded and the staff were standing around talking.We waited while watching other customers who come in after us get served. I flagged down a waitress, asked if she can take my order and she said she will get my waitress. The waitress looked very annoyed that i even asked.I ordered the endless breakfast, requested no cheese, my order came with cheese on the eggs. My eggs were remade and return 2me very running. I initially asked for scrambled eggs well done. I noticed I did not get pancakes. So I asked the waitress who said no pancakes come with your order. Again this waitress looked annoyed too.All the time the staff is just talking and laughing. Later i checked on the Dennys websitw and found that pancakes do come with my order My husband order and grandson was ok. Also a friend of the staff who walked in from outside came in, walked behind the counter, laughing and talking with the cook/other staff. I thought for sure this woman would have to stand behind the counter or least wash her hands n wear a mask. But nope she stood talking/laughing over other customers food with the cook . Read moreA bit disappointed in my visit today at the Santa Paula Denny's. Took my mom to breakfast and as we entered we were told to wait outside by a gentleman. I know it is due to social distancing but there was no sign on the door stating that we needed to wait to be seated. So we stood outside then a young man exiting the restaurant opened the door for us to go in so we did. Again the same rude man said we are cleaning the booth, I then said we would like a table. We sat down and was handed menus and the 55+ portion of the menu is no longer included. My mother asked the gentleman do you have the seniors menu and he abruptly said that's all we have. I believe he realized I wasnt at all pleased with him so a very nice young lady took care of us the remainder of the time. Read moreI had ask for a straw. Order person advise no straws to be given with no soft drinks or other drinks. Only straws are giving with kids meal. I was advised. That new law by State of California. Had gone in to effect 2 weeks ago. I know the new law was one can request for a straw. But new law no straw went in 2 weeks ago. Plus order taker. Advise it is posted? I said where? She brought over the No straw policy. I advise her. That manger and or owners should have post No Straw policy on front door. And all booths and on counter so others my see. The No straw rule has a two flaws? A. Only kids meal. B. Order a Malt or Shake and you get a straw. What next? No Salt. No pepper. No sugar.
