I would like Tanner to know what an absolute unprofessional organization that SPARC has turned into since I last adopted my dog from you last March 2015.

I called twice on a dog named Toby and was given two completely different pieces of information on your process on Monday, March 14th from a gentleman who answered the phone and on Tuesday, March 15th from a woman who answered at 3:30pm.

Neither person offered for me to come in and complete an application (the woman told me nothing could be done until 3/16). So imagine my surprise when I showed up 9:59am this morning and another gentleman was there saying he completed an application yesterday!! Not one person this morning could give a straight answer on the policy or procedure for adopting animals when there is more than one person applying. I was lied to and told that there would be a home visit and that a "committee" would make a decision, but then was told a few minutes later that it would be based off of the application. All you people did was give it to the first person who applied. If that's your policy then be honest about that and put it in writing so everyone knows. I drove from Ventura and you wasted my time. I was also told I would receive a phone call and did not. This organization is the most unpolished and uninformed group of people I've ever seen. The office staff is so unprofessional and I'm appalled at what has happened to that place in a year.

I had such a great experience last year (with a completely different group of people) and it sickens me to see it now. I would never adopt from that facility and will make sure I let everyone I know how you treat...

Saw a cat on web site. Listed as a "barn cat" in the "barn cat" program. We went to check out the cat and confirmed that it was indeed a barn cat indoor outdoor. They said yes. We go look at this scared pretty cat. But immediately no you can't pet it. It bits. (Okay.) So we are checking it out talking it over they herd us talking about it being outside and all of a sudden. They can't abopt to us because they don't adopt cat unless they are strictly indoors. But hes on the "barn cat" list. And with additude no hes not. But we seen him on the site snd got confirmed he was. Well eere sorry we vant adopt to you and ill just get someone who can help you because im not... She said and so on. So we try toget help upfront and the lady stopped listening to the customer trying to rescue an animal. And some vet tech chases us outside wait that cat is on the list do you want him. We wont charge you. We're so sorry. So now that not one person was one the same page there they clearly. Dont communicate with each other. And the way we were talked down to. Was rude. I left without a rescue. and really world who adopts indoor cats only. Well of to cat...

Try living next door to this place it is ridiculous they bring dogs in at all hours of the night I have video of them at 3:00 a.m. in the morning at one time Man y years ago I also have video of dogs being left out in the yard which is against the lease agreement with the city our city council lied to us when they moved this into our neighborhood and said it would be only there for a limited time it has been there for several years we put up with a lot of noise and a lot of their trash in our yards medical waste and everything else they leave dogs out in the yard overnight which they are not supposed to do but our great city council lies to their people and does an unservice to our neighborhood thanks for nothing and a dog kennel should be out side of the city limits not inside inside a neighborhood I am not against saving these animals they deserve it but they deserve to be able to have a place out in Rome in the grass...
