I LOVE this place! Delicious, fast, and inexpensive food from a variety of asian cuisines (japanese, chinese, thai, laotian). The proprietor recognizes me on sight and asks if I want my usual (double chicken teriyaki bowl). I'm a big guy, at 6'4" and 275lbs, and I always feel nicely full after eating here.
My wife likes their Thai Spicy Basil Chicken, and they also have a variety of Laotian specialties to offer. It's nothing fancy, just delicious food made very well!
The only potential downsides to the place are an utter lack of ambiance (which, frankly, I find more comfortable than a "nice" restaurant), and sometimes late in the day (after 5pm or so) they run out of ingredients (usually chicken). I guess the upside to that is you know they start each day with fresh ingredients!
The proprietor mentioned today that business was slow, which makes me worry. I should have written a review long ago, but worry was the impetus which drove me to finally do it. Please come check them out! They're on the far northern end of the Oliver's parking lot. Read moreDiscovered this little place on Yelp. It is definitely a small little place but has big taste!
When we first walked in we were greeted right away. We had not been here before and did not know what to expect. The hostess asked if it was our first time and we told her yes. She then proceeded to start to go over the menu and provide recommendations. She was VERY friendly and helpful. I ended up getting Terriyaki Chicken & rice and it was delicious!! The service was great and very fast as well. The portion sizes are great for what you pay for as well.
All in all, GREAT food and perfect for a quick meal or to pick up if you are in a hurry. I can't wait to go back and...
Read moreI had a very bad experience at this place. I called ahead of times & talked to the owner of the restaurant Lay about a certian food to make for a party that I'm throwing & we talked about the price of the food. She told me a 5lb oblong disposable pan is $60 for the Laab then when I got there she lied & said it was $80 a pan. Why tell me $60 a pan & charge me $160? When it should be $120 for the price of two pans of $60? I should of listen to my friends & family when they told me that she be ripping people off of their money. Never ordering food from there agian! I give this place a 1 star or no stars at all. Horrible customer service...
