TL;DR: Don't go here, they're condescending and rude. Pizza took too long (an hour!), and was gross, because one was ready before the other and sat under the heat lamp for at least 20 mins. Salad was literally thrown in the box. Employees didn't care, check-in, or offer anything as compensation for patience for waiting as long as I did.
I have been a loyal customer of Round Table Pizza for over 15 years, and had the worst experience ever as a Round Table last night. I've worked in the food and customer service industries on the front lines for 20 years, so I have a very high patience level, and am very empathetic to the employees, and things that can happen. But this was beyond.
I ordered a pizza online at about 6:45 pm, and it said it would be delivered at 8:30. Rather than wait, I decided to call and see if we could pick it up instead, since I lived close by. They told me the pizzas would be ready in 20 minutes. I went to Round Table at 7 pm, paid, and waited for my pizza, which they said would be out soon. After 20 minutes, the pizza still wasn't done, and I was told by the same employee that the pizza came out of the oven a little underdone, so they had to put it back in for a few more minutes, and I would be good to go.
While I was waiting I overheard a conversation between another employee and a customer. The customer asked for a small diet coke, and the employee condescendingly told the employee that this location doesn't offer free refills, so if they want one, they should pay for it now. The customer told the employee that he would be fine, and wouldn't want a refill. The employee again told the customer, "Ok, well if you want a refill later, you'll have to pay for it then", in the same condescending tone, as if this grown man was a child.
Just before I got my order, I could hear the "no free refills" employee talking to another employee in the kitchen (which I was sitting about 40 feet away from), about my order. The "no free refills" employee asked the other employee where the other pizza was, and he said "It's probably in the warmer, it's been sitting there a while now. Hope it's not gross".
I finally got my pizza at 7:45, a full hour after I placed the order, and 45 minutes of waiting inside the location. No one checked on me, or let me know what was going on. There was no mention of my other pizza sitting under the warmer for at least 20 minutes, and they almost forgot my salad. They did thank me for my patience, which was running severely thin at that point.
When I got home, it was clear that the salad was haphazardly made, and which pizza was left under the warmer. Let me just tell you that trying to eat a Maui Zaui pizza that is lukewarm, and has been sitting out for as long as it was is an unpleasant one.
I spent $57 on pizza and salad at this location, and my guests and I were only able to eat half because of the shoddy service, and even poorer quality of food I received. I also missed out on almost an hour's worth of visiting relatives that I rarely see, due to the slip up of the employees, which would have been fine, if they had checked with me, or been honest about the situation. When we walked in there was salad dressing on the floor with a sign in front of it, and it was still there when we left an hour later.
Tables in 3 of the banquet rooms were covered in garbage, and not just 1 of the tables, like over half of them, wet, pizza scraps, wadded up paper towels, other food garbage, it all persisted for the duration of our visit, with multiple employees looking in each room and then just walking out.
Same thing in the main dining rooms, tables covered with food garbage, for the entire duration of our visit as well. None of the staff were concerned with cleaning up any of it, at all.
The salad bar was a disaster, the arcade only had one game powered on, out of maybe 8. they obviously don't care about this restaurant at all.
I was appalled, and this will be the last time I patronize this establishment.
Shame on you Round Table. A total embarrassment.
We didn't even take the half of our pizza that was left over home with us it was so unappetizing.
And for 2 people, the bill was $70! 1 pizza, 1 appetizer, 2 sodas 1 salad. SEVENTY DOLLARS. And that's with the special online promotion discount!!
The only thing they even remotely got right was the 2 sodas. I didn't bother to look at what percentage of the bill that was, but I definitely know the $3.50 for spinach added to our pizza was not worth it, as it was hardly discernable as even on the pizza. Such a shame.
Round Table used to be a place where you could at least count on a decent pizza. Times have changed folks. Stay home, cook your own food. $35 per person to eat crap while surrounded in filth, NEVER AGAIN.
I really feel bad for the 4 or 5 grub hub pizzas that went out while we were there. Those people certainly paid even more, and had no clue the conditions of cleanliness their food was made in.

Read moreI have never had a problem at this location until today. Online we ordered a large pizza, 12 wings, and 6 twists. The confirmation said it would be about an hour for delivery. A little over and hour later I called to check on delivery. The guy who answered was helpful and said there was a new driver out and that it would be delivered soon. He said he would provide a coupon for a free large pizza. I said I was worried that the pizza would not be warm and he said they deliver in warmers and it would for sure be warm. Another hour went by. I called again and a young lady answered and took my info to check on the delivery. She put me on hold and came back to the phone which then disconnected. I called back and a third person answered. He said not to worry and the pizza would be delivered in about 5 minutes. He shrugged it off and was not helpful. 10 minutes went by. I called back and asked to speak with a manager. The manager was very helpful. She apologized because the driver was new and had been out for an hour on two deliveries. She said that she'd compensate us for our pizza and apologized again. She then said she was sending out her manager with our delivery at that moment. About 10 minutes later two guys showed up, one with a round table name tag and shirt. He had the pizza and wings and a bag in his hand as well as a complimentary drink. He apologized that the twists were left at the store. Holding the pizza, all the boxes were cold. Like cold because they'd been exposed to the weather. I asked if the food was warm and the guy said it was not as warm. And then He shrugged.I took the pizza and they left. I called the store back and asked to speak with a manager. The young lady answered the phone asked what it was about and I said a delivery. She said something I couldn't hear and I asked again to speak with a manager. She said yes and I asked if she was a manager. She said "ummmm yeah." I was done and hung up.
